What's It Like?
Why not try the lovely Salt/Pepper mix? A medium grey with a touch of brown base, plus silver/white evenly blended through. A very, natural colour.
The Alaska wig from the Raquel Welch European Collection is a beautifully, cropped wig that is incredibly light to wear.
The Alaska has an additional feature of a pre-cut, fine LACE FRONT. This is the ultimate for a natural hairline, creating an undetectable finish.
The fringe measures 2.5" so it will sit sweetly above brow level. The density of the fringe is just right if you are wishing to replicate your own hair.
The crown layers measure 3" and have a subtle lift that will stay with you all day and every day. Raquel Welch have also cleverly introduced a MONOFILAMENT oval area (3") at the crown. This design creates a more natural appearance at this particular section. Clever stuff!
The back of this wig is sweetly tapered and graduates gently to the nape area. The back of the Alaska will follow your natural shape without clinging to your head. This creates a stunning silhouette that is truly realistic.
The nape measures 1.5" and will fit snugly against your nape. There is enough coverage if you are wearing this piece over your own hair.

The TOP area of this wig has OPEN WEFTS. This has been expertly designed to allow the air to circulate, ensuring that it is lightweight & cooler than the traditional caps. There is also an additional feature of an oval shaped MONOFILAMENT section at the crown area. This cleverly creates the impression of a natural scalp area. To finish off this wig beautifully, there is a fine, pre-cut LACE FRONT for a truly realistic construction. Stunning! |

Here is a beautifully constructed, OPEN WEFTED area. This design is perfect if you wear glasses, or sunglasses. This section is slightly flexible, so you can adjust until it sits comfortably against your skin. The TEMPLE area also has an additional feature, as it has been UNDERKNOTTED. This creates a natural appearance around the ear section. |
 Body: |
To ensure that the wig is airy, the main body has OPEN WEFTS. This means that the hair has been stitched by machine onto very thin strips of elasticated material. This design ensures that the wig is cool & lightweight. |
 Nape: |
The NAPE has a beautifully constructed FINISHING strip. The wig is also secured by VELCRO ADJUSTABLE STRAPS. There is up to half an inch give, so the wig can be tightened, or slackened depending upon the size of your head. |

To measure the circumference of your head for your size, simply take your cloth tape measure and measure from your front hairline to just above the ears, to where your neck bends and back around to the front hairline.
- Average Size: Between 54cm to 57cm (21.25 to 22.5 inches).
- Large Size: Larger than 57cm (22.5 to 24 inches).
- Petite Size: Between 51cm and 54cm (20 to 21.25 inches).

1. De-TangleLightly brush through and gently remove any tangles using a wide tooth comb/brush. Do not pull or drag the fibre ….be gentle! |

2. ShampooFill your sink, or large bowl with enough cool water to submerge your wig. Pour a capful of synthetic wig shampoo in the water. Soak your wig for 3-5 minutes. Gently swirl without rubbing. |
 |
3. RinseRemove the wig from the water. Rinse the wig under running cold water, until the water runs clear from the shampoo. Either use running water from a tap, or perhaps a shower attachment. It is okay to blot the wig with a towel, but do not twist the wig or ring it out. |

4. ConditionComb through very lightly . There are two ways to condition your wig:

5. DryComb through your wig very lightly. Place the wig on either a poly head, or a wig stand to dry naturally overnight. Fibre wigs will maintain their style after being washed. |

6. StyleWhen your wig is dry use your fingers or a wide tooth comb to style the fibres. You may also wish to define the layers/curls with synthetic safe styling products. |
