What's It Like?
Use a water spray to experiment with a tousled look. You can see what the wig would look like spiky, without taking the plunge of adding styling products.
The Dixie Pixie from Raquel Welch is a short cut with longer crown layers, creating a feminine twist to a cropped style.
This piece is a MONOFILAMENT, which means that wherever you part the Dixie Pixie, she will give the impression that the hair is coming from your own scalp. Monofilaments are the ultimate in comfort and realistic appearance.
The fringe measures 3.5", so it will sit at brow level. Raquel Welch have layered & razor cut the fringe for a natural fullness which will frame your eyes perfectly.
The fringe perfectly blends into the side and back layers. These are short and tapered close, creating a snug and tailored finish. The side layers will sit in front of your ears, settling into subtle points. There is plenty of coverage if you are wearing this piece over your own hair.
The crown area has a contrasting look to the overall shape of the Dixie Pixie,as the layers measure 4". This length creates a softness and fullness compared to the close tapering throughout the rest of this piece. Remember that the crown area can be smoothed down for a sleeker appearance, or you can tousle to create more volume.
The nape measures 1.5", so the Dixie Pixie will fit snugly and sweetly into your neck. The neckline has been thinned out slightly creating an elongated look which is flattering and incredibly realsitic.
The Dixie Pixie also has a poly tape strip, which has beautifully been constructed into the front of the wig. If you wear this piece due to hairloss, this is where you can comfortably secure your wig tape for additional security.

The TOP area of this wig has been fully HAND TIED so that the appearance is as natural as possible. It is a MONOFILAMENT piece, which means that wherever you part the wig, it will give the impression that the hair is coming from your own scalp. This wig also has a non slip / POLY TAPE strip, which has beautifully been constructed into the FRONT of the wig. If you wear this piece due to hairloss, this is where you can comfortably secure your wig tape for additional security. |

Here is a beautifully constructed, OPEN WEFTED area. This design is perfect if you wear glasses, or sunglasses. This section is slightly flexible, so you can adjust until it sits comfortably against your skin. |

Here's the WOW factor! The body of this wig has a MEMORY CAP construction. Here are OPEN WEFTS on slim strips of stretch material that actually mold to the shape of your head. Within an hour, this wig will memorise the contours of your head. Clever stuff! |

The NAPE has a beautifully constructed COMFORT strip. It is an open weft area that will sit comfortably against your neckline. This wig is secured by VELCRO ADJUSTABLE tabs. There is up to half an inch give, so the wig can be tightened or slackened, depending upon the size of your head. |

To measure the circumference of your head for your size, simply take your cloth tape measure and measure from your front hairline to just above the ears, to where your neck bends and back around to the front hairline.
- Average Size: Between 54cm to 57cm (21.25 to 22.5 inches).
- Large Size: Larger than 57cm (22.5 to 24 inches).
- Petite Size: Between 51cm and 54cm (20 to 21.25 inches).

1. De-TangleLightly brush through and gently remove any tangles using a wide tooth comb/brush. Do not pull or drag the fibre ….be gentle! |

2. ShampooFill your sink, or large bowl with enough cool water to submerge your wig. Pour a capful of synthetic wig shampoo in the water. Soak your wig for 3-5 minutes. Gently swirl without rubbing. |

3. RinseRemove the wig from the water. Rinse the wig under running cold water, until the water runs clear from the shampoo. Either use running water from a tap, or perhaps a shower attachment. It is okay to blot the wig with a towel, but do not twist the wig or ring it out. |

4. ConditionComb through very lightly . There are two ways to condition your wig:

5. DryComb through your wig very lightly. Place the wig on either a poly head, or a wig stand to dry naturally overnight. Fibre wigs will maintain their style after being washed. |

6. StyleWhen your wig is dry use your fingers or a wide tooth comb to style the fibres. You may also wish to define the layers/curls with synthetic safe styling products. |
