Amore Bob Wig – Cassidy from Amore Collection

The Amore Designer Series wig range has some lovely pieces, and this one is no exception. The modern Amore bob wig, Cassidy wig is a short take on the classical bob with choppy, but neat layers. It has a very sophisticated look, and glamorous style, whilst being practical and easy to wear. L O V I N G  t h e  G l a m o u r !

Taking it out the box for the first time, I was surprised how light it felt, and this is likely because it’s a hand-tied wig, so the density is a lot lighter and more realistic. The material used on the inside of this wig is amazingly soft and silky on the skin, and ideal for sensitive skin types like me.

It has lovely layers that do not feel too thick or heavy. Running your fingers through, the layers ‘flick’ nicely, and I L O V E the soft wisps at the base of the neck, and the way it curves slightly onto your face at the sides. As it’s a short style with most of the volume being around the middle of your face, pay attention to your face shape, and what suits you. I think my face is heart-shaped, and couldn’t decide if it made my chin look too pointy or maybe I’ve just got a funny chin 🙂

I L O V E  the length of the fringe, which is slightly long, and this allows you to wear it swept to the side for that sexy, over the eye, mysterious look (possibly for that first date?), or you could get it trimmed if you prefer bit more of a fringe in the middle of your face. Also, everyone has a natural preference which side they prefer to wear their fringe, and as this is a double monofilament wig, you get that flexibility to wear the fringe to the left, or right, or central, which is really great, and the hair will still look like it’s coming out of your own scalp.

I’m not very clued up with lace front wigs, and have never tried one before, but have been dying to try one ever since I saw an article in a girly magazine a couple of years ago about Beyonce wearing one, and it looked so great, I thought it was her own hair! I imagined the lace in a lace-front wig to be the kind you’d find on clothing (silly me?), but it’s more of a mesh-like material, and on this particular wig, it comes uncut so that you can trim this yourself. Overall, I liked the lightness and chic style of this wig, and would highly recommend for those who prefer a shorter, but still glamorous cut. I think this style would look great with a ‘power suit’ to a business meeting, or you could use your wig styling products to give it more volume on top, or at the back, and ‘fluff it up’ for a fun night out!
