What's It Like?
The Shasta has a dramatic & trendy profile. If you like the style, but prefer it without the longer side length, simply take to your hairdressers and have it trimmed. You'll have a completely different look!
The Shasta from Rene of Paris is a striking and trendy cut with a dramatic profile that is very stylish.
The fringe is 4.5", so it is worn slightly swept to the side. This fringe then perfectly blends into the tendy bit.......the 7.5" side layer. This falls beautifully onto the side of your chin & just below. The striking effect is that this long layer then shortens in length and return to just below the earlobes. Trendy!
There is a gentle volume at the crown that perfectly balances out the longer lengths at the side. The nape sits pretty at the back. It has been thinned out, so it hugs the neckline without too much bulk.

This wig is an AERO-LIGHT cap. The TOP area has a semi-circle of open wefts to ensure that this section is airy and lightweight. The CROWN area has a closed, flower net material section. This has been expertly desgined to allow the volume at this area to stay with you throughout the day, without dropping. There is also a soft COMFORT strip at the edge of the wig, so that it will sit comfortably againt your skin. |

Here is a beautifully constructed, OPEN WEFTED area. This design is perfect if you wear glasses, or sunglasses. This section is slightly flexible, so you can adjust until it sits comfortably against your skin. |
 Body: |
To ensure that the wig is airy, the main body has OPEN WEFTS. This means that the hair has been stitched by machine onto very thin strips of elasticated material. This design ensures that the wig is cool & lightweight |
 Nape: |
The NAPE has a beautifully constructed COMFORT strip. It is a closed, soft material section which will sit softly against your neckline. This wig is secured by ADJUSTABLE PULL STRAPS. There is up to an inch give, so the wig can be tightened or slackened, depending upon the size of your head. |

To measure the circumference of your head for your size, simply take your cloth tape measure and measure from your front hairline to just above the ears, to where your neck bends and back around to the front hairline.
- Average Size: Between 54cm to 57cm (21.25 to 22.5 inches).
- Large Size: Larger than 57cm (22.5 to 24 inches).
- Petite Size: Between 51cm and 54cm (20 to 21.25 inches).

I just wanted to say thank you for my wig. I have cancer and had to have radiotherapy to my head, which has meant I have lost most of my hair and it is absolutely horrible! The thought of going to a shop is daunting and so I decided to choose on line and I have to say I got it spot on! I have tried the NHS wigs, there isn't much of a choice and they were dreadful. The Shasta is unbelievable. I love it. I love the long bits and for once my daughter thinks I'm stylish. 1. De-TangleLightly brush through and gently remove any tangles using a wide tooth comb/brush. Do not pull or drag the fibre ….be gentle! |

2. ShampooFill your sink, or large bowl with enough cool water to submerge your wig. Pour a capful of synthetic wig shampoo in the water. Soak your wig for 3-5 minutes. Gently swirl without rubbing. |

3. RinseRemove the wig from the water. Rinse the wig under running cold water, until the water runs clear from the shampoo. Either use running water from a tap, or perhaps a shower attachment. It is okay to blot the wig with a towel, but do not twist the wig or ring it out. |

4. ConditionComb through very lightly . There are two ways to condition your wig:

5. DryComb through your wig very lightly. Place the wig on either a poly head, or a wig stand to dry naturally overnight. Fibre wigs will maintain their style after being washed. |
 |
6. StyleWhen your wig is dry use your fingers or a wide tooth comb to style the fibres. You may also wish to define the layers/curls with synthetic safe styling products. |
