The Dixie wig is quite short at the nape (2"). If you are wearing this over your own hair and you have a low neckline, you may have to trim your own hair.
The Dixie wig from Amore is a classic, short cut with exquisite construction.
This piece is a DOUBLE MONOFILAMENT, which means that wherever you part the Dixie, she will give the impression that the hair is coming from your own scalp. Monofilaments are the ultimate in comfort and realistic appearance.
The fringe sits at 3.5", so it will settle just at brow level. There is a very gently wave to this wig, so the fringe will curl slightly inwards. There is a natural height at the crown, which will stay in place throughout your day. The Dixie is effortless to maintain.
The softly feathered layers balance this piece perfectly with the side lengths, that fall forward onto your face into a subtle point, Due to the outstanding design techniques of Amore, feel free to style the Dixie behind your ears. You can be confident that the style will still look incredibly natural.
The short layers throughout this wig perfectly balance with the snug neckline. The nape will sit sweetly into your neck.
The main compliment that the Dixie has from our customers is that it is very light to wear......weighing only 1.9oz. You can wear the Dixie all day, everyday.
This wig is available in lots of lovely colours, including the Grey Shades.
The Dixie has a poly tape strip, which has beautifully been constructed into the front of the wig. If you wear this piece due to hairloss, this is where you can comfortably secure your wig tape for additional security.

The TOP area of this wig is a HAND TIED, MONOFILAMENT construction. This means that wherever you part the wig, it will give the impression that the hair is coming from your own scalp. This wig also has an additional feature of being DOUBLE MONOFILAMENT. This extra soft layer will protect your scalp from the handknotting. This will ensure that it will feel like silk against your skin, an important benefit if you are wearing this wig due to hairloss. |

 Temple: |
Here is a beautifully constructed COMFORT strip. It is a closed, flower net material section which is slightly flexible, so you can adjust until it sits comfortably against your skin. The temple area also has an additional feature, as it has been UNDERKNOTTED. This creates a natural appearance around the ear section. |
 Body: |
To ensure that the wig is airy, the main body has OPEN WEFTS. This means that the hair has been stitched by machine onto very thin strips of elasticated material. This design ensures that the wig is cool & lightweight. |
 Nape: |
The NAPE has a beautifully constructed FINISHING strip. The wig is secured by pull ADJUSTABLE STRAPS. There is up to half an inch give, so the wig can be tightened, or slackened depending upon the size of your head. |

To measure the circumference of your head for your size, simply take your cloth tape measure and measure from your front hairline to just above the ears, to where your neck bends and back around to the front hairline.
- Average Size: Between 54cm to 57cm (21.25 to 22.5 inches).
- Large Size: Larger than 57cm (22.5 to 24 inches).
- Petite Size: Between 51cm and 54cm (20 to 21.25 inches).

1. De-TangleLightly brush through and gently remove any tangles using a wide tooth comb/brush. Do not pull or drag the fibre ….be gentle! |

2. ShampooFill your sink, or large bowl with enough cool water to submerge your wig. Pour a capful of synthetic wig shampoo in the water. Soak your wig for 3-5 minutes. Gently swirl without rubbing. |

3. RinseRemove the wig from the water. Rinse the wig under running cold water, until the water runs clear from the shampoo. Either use running water from a tap, or perhaps a shower attachment. It is okay to blot the wig with a towel, but do not twist the wig or ring it out. |

4. ConditionComb through very lightly . There are two ways to condition your wig:

5. DryComb through your wig very lightly. Place the wig on either a poly head, or a wig stand to dry naturally overnight. Fibre wigs will maintain their style after being washed. |

6. StyleWhen your wig is dry use your fingers or a wide tooth comb to style the fibres. You may also wish to define the layers/curls with synthetic safe styling products. |
