What's It Like?
The Emily wig from the Amore collection, is a fancy twist on a bob style. This pretty style perfectly complements any face shape, as the soft layers fall naturally towards the face. With subtle height at the crown of the wig, this naturally complements the tapered neckline. This wig is made from synthetic fibres, which means that this fabulous wig will retain its shape without styling. The main body of the construction is wefted, coupled with a double monofilament top.

Size and Fit
The Emily wig features a full fringe measuring 10cm sitting below the brow, whilst it can also be gently swept to the side. The crown layers are 15cm styled to naturally fall around the face, then at the ear the layers gradually return to a shorter length, falling at 5.75cm at the neckline. We love the natural volume, and how the Emily wig is perfectly styled, yet weighing only 2.4oz it’s comfortable and easy to wear daily! You can use the above measurements to help determine how the wig will sit against your own face and features.
Materials and Construction
The Emily wig is created from synthetic materials, meaning the fibres have been made with artificial materials. Synthetic hair is typically more affordable than real human hair and will hold their style for much longer. The main body of the wig has been created from open wefts. Our hair loss community love open wefts, as they allow for circulation against your scalp. They also provide a slight give, as they are slightly stretchy.
This cap has a double monofilament construction. A monofilament cap will allow you to style your parting where you fancy, whilst creating the illusion that the hair is coming from your own scalp. A Double Monofilament has an extra piece of soft material covering the top section of the cap, which makes it super comfortable to wear. Double monofilament designs are the ultimate in comfort and providing a realistic appearance. The finishing at the forehead has been delicately constructed, so it will look natural at the hairline. The Emily wig has a polyurethane tape strip along the front, so if you have total hair loss you can adhere wig tape here for extra security.

Top and Crown
The TOP area of this wig is a HAND TIED, MONOFILAMENT construction. This means that wherever you part the wig, it will give the impression that the hair is coming from your own scalp. This wig also has an additional feature of being DOUBLE MONOFILAMENT. This extra soft layer will protect your scalp from the handknotting. This will ensure that it will feel like silk against your skin, an important benefit if you are wearing this wig due to hairloss.
Temple
Here is a beautifully constructed COMFORT strip. It is a closed, flower net material section which is slightly flexible, so you can adjust until it sits comfortably against your skin. The TEMPLE area also has an additional feature, as it has been UNDERKNOTTED. This creates a natural appearance around the ear section.
Body
To ensure that the wig is airy, the main body has OPEN WEFTS. This means that the hair has been stitched by machine onto very thin strips of elasticated material. This design ensures that the wig is cool & lightweight.
Nape
The NAPE has a beautifully constructed COMFORT strip. It is a closed, flower net material section which will sit softly against your neckline.
This wig is secured by ADJUSTABLE PULL STRAPS. There is up to an inch give, so the wig can be tightened or slackened, depending upon the size of your head.

To measure the circumference of your head for your size, simply take your cloth tape measure and measure from your front hairline to just above the ears, to where your neck bends and back around to the front hairline.

- How To
Simply Wigs' synthetic hair washing guide 
1. De-Tangle
Lightly brush through and gently remove any tangles using a wide tooth comb/brush. Do not pull or drag the fibre. Be gentle!
2. Shampoo
Fill your sink, or large bowl with enough cool water to submerge your wig. Pour a capful of synthetic wig shampoo in the water. Soak your wig for 3-5 minutes. Gently swirl without rubbing.
3. Rinse
Remove the wig from the water. Rinse the wig under running cold water, until the water runs clear from the shampoo. Either use running water from a tap, or perhaps a shower attachment. It is okay to blot the wig with a towel, but do not twist the wig or ring it out.
4. Condition
Comb through very lightly.
There are two ways to condition your wig:- Spray on Conditioner: Simply spray onto your wig after rinsing and leave to dry naturally.
- Balsam Conditioner: After rinsing, Pour a capful of the conditioner into the water. Soak your wig for 3-5 minutes. Gently swirl without rubbing. Do not rinse out though. Leave to dry naturally. (Please refer to the manufactures instructions for exact requirements)
5. Dry
Comb through your wig very lightly. Place the wig on either a poly head, or a wig stand to dry naturally overnight. Fibre wigs will maintain their style after being washed.
6. Style
When your wig is dry use your fingers or a wide tooth comb to style the fibres. You may also wish to define the layers/curls with synthetic safe styling products.
