What's It Like?
Remember not to use heated applicances on the Twiggy. Simply use styling products & finger styling to tousle up your look.
The Twiggy wig from the Feather Premier collection is a short, modern look with a superior cap construction.
The TOP area of this wig is a DOUBLE HAND TIED, MONOFILAMENT construction. This means that wherever you part the wig, it will give the impression that the hair is coming from your own scalp. This wig also has an additional feature of being DOUBLE MONOFILAMENT. This extra soft layer will protect your scalp from the handknotting. This will ensure that it will feel like silk against your skin, an important benefit if you are wearing this wig due to hairloss.
The fringe measures 4", and it is totally up to you how you style your parting. Right, left or centre...the choice is yours! The fringe then perfectly blends into the side layers that can either fall infront of your ears, or you can dress behind your ears for a smoother look.
The crown measures 3" and there is a subtle lift that will stay with you throughout the day without dropping. The wow factor of the Twiggy is the density. This wig is not to thick and not too thin. Just the right density if you are wishing to replicate your own hair.
The nape measures 4" and has been expertly thinned out to create a natural finish to your look. The neckline layers will softly curl and hug your neck gently. There is plenty of coverage if you are wearing this wig over your own hair.
For ultimate comfort, ALL of the body has been HANDTIED. This creates an amazing softness against your scalp. Perfect if you have hairloss. There is also a minimum qty of seams, so the wig will hug and conform to your head for a better fit.
The Twiggy also has a POLY TAPE strip, which has beautifully been constructed into the front of the wig. If you wear this piece due to hairloss, this is where you can comfortably secure your wig tape for additional security. There is an additional feature of a super fine LACE FRONT which provides an undetectable front hairline.

Here is a beautifully constructed COMFORT strip. It is a soft material section which is slightly flexible, so you can adjust until it sits comfortably against your skin. The TEMPLE area also has an additional feature, as it has been UNDERKNOTTED. This creates a natural appearance around the ear section. There is also an inch square of a hand tied, POLY TAPE section. This area has been designed for you to attach wig tape for extra security. |

1. De-TangleLightly brush through and gently remove any tangles using a wide tooth comb/brush. Do not pull or drag the fibre ….be gentle! |

2. ShampooFill your sink, or large bowl with enough cool water to submerge your wig. Pour a capful of synthetic wig shampoo in the water. Soak your wig for 3-5 minutes. Gently swirl without rubbing. |

3. RinseRemove the wig from the water. Rinse the wig under running cold water, until the water runs clear from the shampoo. Either use running water from a tap, or perhaps a shower attachment. It is okay to blot the wig with a towel, but do not twist the wig or ring it out. |

4. ConditionComb through very lightly . There are two ways to condition your wig:

5. DryComb through your wig very lightly. Place the wig on either a poly head, or a wig stand to dry naturally overnight. Fibre wigs will maintain their style after being washed. |

6. StyleWhen your wig is dry use your fingers or a wide tooth comb to style the fibres. You may also wish to define the layers/curls with synthetic safe styling products. |
