What's It Like?
Are you a medium brown, but you want some lift....take a look at the colour Sepia (829H). The base is a pretty, medium brown & then there are strawberry blonde highlights, combined with dark brown lowlights. Very pretty!
The Encounter wig from Revlon is one of our best sellers. Shoulder length, feminine & very natural looking.
This piece is a MONOFILAMENT, which means that wherever you part the Encounter, she will give the impression that the hair is coming from your own scalp. Monofilaments are the ultimate in comfort and realistic appearance.
The long, open fringe measures 6", so it perfectly integrates into the side layers. Because of the exquisite construction of the Encounter, the 'open' hairline is incredibly natural looking.
The side layers will fall and curve towards the face, and then at the tips they will gently flick outwards. This soft and flattering design will compliment all face shapes.
The layers at the side will be slightly shorter than at the back. This gentle graduation adds to the natural movement of this wig, creating lots of realistic sway throughout.
The back view of the Encounter is stylish and sleek. Soft layers that gently flick outwards at the tip. The density of this wig is perfect if you are wishing to replicate your own style. It is not too bulky, and yet not too thin. A perfect density to ensure that your wig will be undetectable.
The Encounter also has a poly tape strip, which has beautifully been constructed into the front of the wig. If you wear this piece due to hairloss, this is where you can comfortably secure your wig tape for additional security.

 Top and Crown: |
The TOP & CROWN area of this wig has a sheer, HANDTIED, MONOFILAMENT construction. This means that wherever you part the wig, it will give the impression that the hair is coming from your own scalp. There is also a POLY STRIP strip section at the front of the wig, where you would normally locate your natural hairline. It is here where you can apply wig tape, or glue. Even without tape being applied, this section will prevent slipping. |

 Temple: |
Here is a beautifully constructed COMFORT strip. It is a closed, flower net material section which is slightly flexible, so you can adjust until it sits comfortably against your skin. |
 Body: |
To ensure that the wig is airy, the main body of this wig has OPEN WEFTS. This means that the hair has been stitched by machine onto very thin strips of elasticated material. This design ensures that the wig is cool, lightweight & flexible. |
 Nape: |
This wig is secured by VELCRO ADJUSTABLE STRAPS. There is up to an inch give, so the wig can be tightened or slackened, depending upon the size of your head. The NECKLINE is finished with an extended VELCRO strip, creating a comfortable finish that will sit softly against your neck. |

To measure the circumference of your head for your size, simply take your cloth tape measure and measure from your front hairline to just above the ears, to where your neck bends and back around to the front hairline.
- Average Size: Between 54cm to 57cm (21.25 to 22.5 inches).
- Large Size: Larger than 57cm (22.5 to 24 inches).
- Petite Size: Between 51cm and 54cm (20 to 21.25 inches).

I don't normally comment on products that I have bought, but I must about this wig. I've had to wear wigs for many years and I've never liked doing so. My friend suggested I try this one and it is just amazing. It looks real, feels real and I can say that I do not mind wearing a wig anymore because I now feel so much more confident. |

1. De-TangleLightly brush through and gently remove any tangles using a wide tooth comb/brush. Do not pull or drag the fibre ….be gentle! |

2. ShampooFill your sink, or large bowl with enough cool water to submerge your wig. Pour a capful of synthetic wig shampoo in the water. Soak your wig for 3-5 minutes. Gently swirl without rubbing. |

3. RinseRemove the wig from the water. Rinse the wig under running cold water, until the water runs clear from the shampoo. Either use running water from a tap, or perhaps a shower attachment. It is okay to blot the wig with a towel, but do not twist the wig or ring it out. |

4. ConditionComb through very lightly . There are two ways to condition your wig:

5. DryComb through your wig very lightly. Place the wig on either a poly head, or a wig stand to dry naturally overnight. Fibre wigs will maintain their style after being washed. |

6. StyleWhen your wig is dry use your fingers or a wide tooth comb to style the fibres. You may also wish to define the layers/curls with synthetic safe styling products. |
