What's It Like?
If the colour you have choosen is ROOTED, the roots of your wig will be darker. This is to create the impression of natural re-growth. Truly natural colours.
The Lima Mono wig from the Raquel Welch European Collection is a pretty, cropped look which has an exquisite cap construction.
This piece is a MONOFILAMENT, which means that wherever you part the Lima Mono , she will give the impression that the hair is coming from your own scalp. Monofilaments are the ultimate in comfort and realistic appearance. The edging of the hairline has also been hand knotted to create an undetectable finish. Amazing stuff!
The fringe measures 3" and will sit at brow level. This short wig has lots of versatility. You can wear smoothed down, or tousled up if you prefer. Simply use styling products, such as the styling gel to achieve your required look.
The short crown layers measure 2" and will graduate perfectly into the back of this wig.
The back is tapered and blended sweetly & snugly ....following your natural contour, but not clinging to your head. A really flattering finish to this modern look. The short nape measures 1.5". A snug fit which is pretty & uncomplicated.

 Top and Crown: |
The TOP area of this wig has been fully HAND TIED so that the appearance is as natural as possible. It is a sheer MONOFILAMENT piece, which means that wherever you part the wig, it will give the impression that the hair is coming from your own scalp. This wig also has a non slip / POLY TAPE strip, which has beautifully been constructed into the FRONT of the wig. If you wear this piece due to hairloss, this is where you can comfortably secure your wig tape for additional security. |

 Temple: |
Here is a beautifully constructed COMFORT strip. It is a closed, soft material section which is slightly flexible, so you can adjust until it sits comfortably against your skin. The temple area also has an additional feature, as it has been UNDERKNOTTED. This creates a natural appearance around the ear section. |
 Body: |
To ensure that the wig is airy, the main body has OPEN WEFTS. This means that the hair has been stitched by machine onto very thin strips of elasticated material. This design ensures that the wig is cool & lightweight. |
 Nape: |
The NAPE has a beautifully constructed COMFORT strip. It is a closed, soft material section which will sit softly against your neckline. This wig is secured by VELCRO ADJUSTABLE straps. There is up to an inch give, so the wig can be tightened or slackened, depending upon the size of your head. |

To measure the circumference of your head for your size, simply take your cloth tape measure and measure from your front hairline to just above the ears, to where your neck bends and back around to the front hairline.
- Average Size: Between 54cm to 57cm (21.25 to 22.5 inches).
- Large Size: Larger than 57cm (22.5 to 24 inches).
- Petite Size: Between 51cm and 54cm (20 to 21.25 inches).

1. De-TangleLightly brush through and gently remove any tangles using a wide tooth comb/brush. Do not pull or drag the fibre ….be gentle! |

2. ShampooFill your sink, or large bowl with enough cool water to submerge your wig. Pour a capful of synthetic wig shampoo in the water. Soak your wig for 3-5 minutes. Gently swirl without rubbing. |
 |
3. RinseRemove the wig from the water. Rinse the wig under running cold water, until the water runs clear from the shampoo. Either use running water from a tap, or perhaps a shower attachment. It is okay to blot the wig with a towel, but do not twist the wig or ring it out. |

4. ConditionComb through very lightly . There are two ways to condition your wig:

5. DryComb through your wig very lightly. Place the wig on either a poly head, or a wig stand to dry naturally overnight. Fibre wigs will maintain their style after being washed. |

6. StyleWhen your wig is dry use your fingers or a wide tooth comb to style the fibres. You may also wish to define the layers/curls with synthetic safe styling products. |
