What's It Like?
If the colour number has C at the end....this is short for CHUNKS. This means that the highlight colours will be noticeable. Either lifting or softening the base colour.
The Elara wig from Revlon is a beautiful, shoulder length cut with lots of face framing layers that will flatter all face shapes.
Revlon have cleverly designed a MONOFILAMENT, circular area. This design has been HANDTIED to create an appearance of natural hair growth, coming from your scalp.
The fringe measures 4", so it will sit below your brow. This wig has a pre-styled centre parting. There is also a monofilament section within the parting area, which will give the impression that the hair is coming from your own scalp. Realistic looking and very clever!
The side layers have been cut to fall towards your face and neck, creating a very feminine silhouette. The length is below shoulder length and has lots of natural sway. This wig has a lovely density, not too thin and not too thick. Perfect for a true to life look.
The Elara is part of the SELECT FIT range, which means that inside the cap are an additional four velcro adjustable tabs. This can alter the Elara from being an Average size to a Petite size. This wig is popular as many clients are in between the two standard sizes, so with the Select Fit construction, you can adjust to fit your size perfectly. You're in control.

The majority of the TOP & CROWN area of this wig has a closed, flower net material section. There is also a cleverly designed MONOFILAMENT, circular area. This design has been HANDTIED to create an appearance of natural hair growth, coming from your scalp. There is a soft FINISHING strip at the edge of the wig, so that it will sit comfortably against your skin. |

Here is a beautifully constructed COMFORT strip. It is a closed, flower net material section which is slightly flexible, so you can adjust until it sits comfortably against your skin. |
 Body: |
To ensure that the wig is airy, the main body of this wig is OPEN WEFTED. This means that the hair has been stitched by machine onto very thin strips of elasticated material. This design ensures that the wig is cool, lightweight & flexible. There are also four additional VELCRO ADJUSTABLE tabs, allowing you to adjust from an AVERAGE to a PETITE size. |
 Nape: |
This wig is secured by VELCRO ADJUSTABLE STRAPS. There is up to an inch give, so the wig can be tightened or slackened, depending upon the size of your head. The NECKLINE is finished with an extended VELCRO strip, creating a comfortable finish that will sit softly against your neck. |

To measure the circumference of your head for your size, simply take your cloth tape measure and measure from your front hairline to just above the ears, to where your neck bends and back around to the front hairline.
- Average Size: Between 54cm to 57cm (21.25 to 22.5 inches).
- Large Size: Larger than 57cm (22.5 to 24 inches).
- Petite Size: Between 51cm and 54cm (20 to 21.25 inches).

If you are like me and struggle to get the right fit, then ask Emma about Select Fit. There are strips inside these wigs that you can pull and make smaller. Elara is now my perfect size. Do not struggle with 'baggy' wigs. I've had the Elara thinned out as I'm only 5ft 1" and there was too much volume for my small face. Still recommend this wig. Looks real. |

1. De-TangleLightly brush through and gently remove any tangles using a wide tooth comb/brush. Do not pull or drag the fibre ….be gentle! |

2. ShampooFill your sink, or large bowl with enough cool water to submerge your wig. Pour a capful of synthetic wig shampoo in the water. Soak your wig for 3-5 minutes. Gently swirl without rubbing. |

3. RinseRemove the wig from the water. Rinse the wig under running cold water, until the water runs clear from the shampoo. Either use running water from a tap, or perhaps a shower attachment. It is okay to blot the wig with a towel, but do not twist the wig or ring it out. |

4. ConditionComb through very lightly . There are two ways to condition your wig:

5. DryComb through your wig very lightly. Place the wig on either a poly head, or a wig stand to dry naturally overnight. Fibre wigs will maintain their style after being washed. |

6. StyleWhen your wig is dry use your fingers or a wide tooth comb to style the fibres. You may also wish to define the layers/curls with synthetic safe styling products. |
