What's It Like?
If you choose a ROOTED colour, the base of the fibre will be darker. This clever design has been created to give the impression of natural re-growth. Clever stuff!
The Richmond wig from the Raquel Welch European Collection is a pretty, short wig with soft layers at the top. A modern and easy to wear cut. Gorgeous!
The fringe measures 4" and can be worn prettily to the side. The side layers have been cut sweetly into ear level. They can be worn infront of, or behind....the choice is yours.
The crown layers have been thinned out and textured so a truly realistic look has been achieved. They measure 4" and there is a subtle lift that will stay with you all day, every day. The wow factor for the Richmond wig is the stunning silhouette at the back of this piece. It has been blended and perfectly graduated so that it follows your natural shape at the back of your head. There is a slight wave to add a touch of volume...all of these clever touches ensure that your wig will look as realistic as possible.
The nape layers measure 2.5" and will fit snugly against your neckline. There is plenty of coverage if you are wearing this piece over your own hair.
The Richmond is a modern, short wig which is incredibly easy to maintain. A pretty look, which will look after itself!

 Top and Crown: |
The Top & Crown area has fine wefts allowing for the air to breathe, which has then been delicately covered with a sheer netting for structure & comfort. There is also a soft, COMFORT strip at the edge of the wig, so that it will sit comfortably against your skin. Raquel Welch have additionally included a MONOFILAMENT section at the crown area. This cleverly creates the impression of a natural scalp. |

 Temple: |
Here is a beautifully constructed COMFORT strip. It is a closed, soft material section which is slightly flexible, so you can adjust until it sits comfortably against your skin. The temple area also has an additional feature, as it has been UNDERKNOTTED. This creates a natural appearance around the ear section. |
 Body: |
To ensure that the wig is airy, the main body has OPEN WEFTS. This means that the hair has been stitched by machine onto very thin strips of elasticated material. This design ensures that the wig is cool & lightweight. |
 Nape: |
The NAPE has a beautifully constructed COMFORT strip. It is a closed, soft material section which will sit softly against your neckline. This wig is secured by VELCRO ADJUSTABLE straps. There is up to an inch give, so the wig can be tightened or slackened, depending upon the size of your head. |

To measure the circumference of your head for your size, simply take your cloth tape measure and measure from your front hairline to just above the ears, to where your neck bends and back around to the front hairline.
- Average Size: Between 54cm to 57cm (21.25 to 22.5 inches).
- Large Size: Larger than 57cm (22.5 to 24 inches).
- Petite Size: Between 51cm and 54cm (20 to 21.25 inches).

1. De-TangleLightly brush through and gently remove any tangles using a wide tooth comb/brush. Do not pull or drag the fibre ….be gentle! |

2. ShampooFill your sink, or large bowl with enough cool water to submerge your wig. Pour a capful of synthetic wig shampoo in the water. Soak your wig for 3-5 minutes. Gently swirl without rubbing. |
 |
3. RinseRemove the wig from the water. Rinse the wig under running cold water, until the water runs clear from the shampoo. Either use running water from a tap, or perhaps a shower attachment. It is okay to blot the wig with a towel, but do not twist the wig or ring it out. |

4. ConditionComb through very lightly . There are two ways to condition your wig:

5. DryComb through your wig very lightly. Place the wig on either a poly head, or a wig stand to dry naturally overnight. Fibre wigs will maintain their style after being washed. |

6. StyleWhen your wig is dry use your fingers or a wide tooth comb to style the fibres. You may also wish to define the layers/curls with synthetic safe styling products. |
