The Yukon Mono wig from the Raquel Welch European collection is a shorter look with longer layers for a more feminine twist. This piece is a MONOFILAMENT, which means that wherever you part the Yukon Mono, she will give the impression that the hair is coming from your own scalp. Monofilaments are the ultimate in comfort and realistic appearance. As an additional feature the Yukon Mono has been individually handtied at the hairline for a truly natural appearance.
The fringe measures 4" and has been textured so that it is not too heavy on your forehead. There are short layers throughout, including the crown & top area. These can be tousled up, or smoothed down ....dependng upon your mood!
The layers add a lovely, subtle volume to this wig. It will follow your natural contour at the back of your head, without clinging to your shape. The nape measures 3" and has a finer denisty than the overall wig. There is plenty of coverage if you are wearing this wig over your own hair.

The TOP & CROWN area of this wig has a sheer, HANDTIED, MONOFILAMENT construction. This means that wherever you part the wig, it will give the impression that the hair is coming from your own scalp. As an additional feature, there are small POLY TABS in the corner. This prevents slipping. |

Here is a beautifully constructed, OPEN WEFTED area. This design is perfect if you wear glasses, or sunglasses. This section is slightly flexible, so you can adjust until it sits comfortably against your skin. The TEMPLE area also has an additional feature, as it has been UNDERKNOTTED. This creates a natural appearance around the ear section. |
 Body: |
To ensure that the wig is airy, the main body has OPEN WEFTS. This means that the hair has been stitched by machine onto very thin strips of elasticated material. This design ensures that the wig is cool & lightweight. |
 Nape: |
The NAPE has a beautifully constructed, OPEN WEFTED extended area. This additional feature is designed to give you more coverage at the nape. The open wefts will also help to keep you cooler. The wig is secured by ADJUSTABLE PULL STRAPS. There is up to half an inch give, so the wig can be tightened, or slackened depending upon the size of your head. |
