The Tres Chic wig from Raquel Welch is a modern style with a stunning, asymmetrical cut.

There is a short fringe which then blends into the longer side layers. The WOW factor for the Tres Chic is the long, straight layers at the right side. They are sleek and straight and fall longer at the right side of your face, compared to the left side.

These long layers measure 6.5", creating an ultramodern look. This is then in sharp contrast to the shortened length at the left side. The layers settle just at ear level, creating a striking silhouette that definitely has the celebrity style cut!

The back of this wig has a beautiful silhouette. There is a subtle graduation into the tapered neckline. The nape measures 1.75" and has been thinned out so that it creates the effect of an incredibly natural neckline.

The Tres Chic is only to be worn by the very trendy, the very gorgeous and the very modern!

A Top and Crown: To ensure that the wig is airy & lightweight, the TOP area has OPEN WEFTS. This is where the hair has been stitched by machine onto very thin strips of elasticated material. The CROWN area has a closed, net fabric section, which will help to maintain the root height of the wig throughout your day. To finish this wig, the FRONT HAIRLINE section has a COMFORT STRIP, that sits softly against your head.
B Temple: Here is a beautifully constructed, OPEN WEFTED area. This design is perfect if you wear glasses, or sunglasses. This section is slightly flexible, so you can adjust until it sits comfortably against your skin. The TEMPLE area also has an additional feature, as it has been UNDERKNOTTED. This creates a natural appearance around the ear section.
C Body: Here's the WOW factor! The body of this wig has a MEMORY CAP II construction. Here are OPEN WEFTS on incredibly slim strips of stretch material that actually mold to the shape of your head. Within an hour, this wig will memorise the contours of your head. Clever stuff!
MEMORY CAP II is the updated version of CAP I construction. Finer strips will ensure a more comfortable fit.
D Nape: The NAPE has a beautifully constructed FINISHING strip. This will sit comfortably and softly against your neckline.

This wig is secured by VELCRO ADJUSTABLE tabs. There is up to half an inch give, so the wig can be tightened or slackened, depending upon the size of your head.

To measure the circumference of your head for your size, simply take your cloth tape measure and measure from your front hairline to just above the ears, to where your neck bends and back around to the front hairline.

  • Average Size: Between 54cm to 57cm (21.25 to 22.5 inches).
  • Large Size: Larger than 57cm (22.5 to 24 inches).
  • Petite Size: Between 51cm and 54cm (20 to 21.25 inches).

Simply Wigs' synthetic hair washing guide

1. De-Tangle

Lightly brush through and gently remove any tangles using a wide tooth comb/brush. Do not pull or drag the fibre ….be gentle!

2. Shampoo

Fill your sink, or large bowl with enough cool water to submerge your wig. Pour a capful of synthetic wig shampoo in the water. Soak your wig for 3-5 minutes. Gently swirl without rubbing.

3. Rinse

Remove the wig from the water. Rinse the wig under running cold water, until the water runs clear from the shampoo. Either use running water from a tap, or perhaps a shower attachment. It is okay to blot the wig with a towel, but do not twist the wig or ring it out.

4. Condition

Comb through very lightly . There are two ways to condition your wig:

  • Spray on Conditioner: Simply spray onto your wig after rinsing and leave to dry naturally.
  • Balsam Conditioner: After rinsing, Pour a capful of the conditioner into the water. Soak your wig for 3-5 minutes. Gently swirl without rubbing. Do not rinse out though. Leave to dry naturally.

5. Dry

Comb through your wig very lightly. Place the wig on either a poly head, or a wig stand to dry naturally overnight. Fibre wigs will maintain their style after being washed.

6. Style

When your wig is dry use your fingers or a wide tooth comb to style the fibres. You may also wish to define the layers/curls with synthetic safe styling products.
