The Peru Mono wig from the Raquel Welch European Collection is one of our BEST SELLERS for short cuts. This style is incredibly easy to maintain and is so light to wear.
This piece is a MONOFILAMENT/LACE mix construction, which means that wherever you part the Peru Mono, she will give the impression that the hair is coming from your own scalp. Monofilaments are the ultimate in comfort and realistic appearance.
The Peru Mono also has an additional feature of a HAND TIED, FULL LACE FRONT. This is the ultimate for a natural hairline, creating an undetectable finish. Depending upon your own personal style, you can either trim, or leave the lace front uncut. The fringe measures 2.5", so it will sit sweetly above brow level. The short layers then perfectly blend into the side layers that fall softly just in front of your ears.
The short layers at the crown measure 3", creating gentle volume that will stay with you throughout the day. They graduate perfectly into the nape that measures 1.5". Raquel Welch have razor cut the layers, creating a modern silhouette which is ultra modern. Short, sweet & very popular.
If you are wearing this piece over your own hair, there is still plenty of coverage even though this look is cropped and short.

The TOP area of this wig has been fully HAND TIED so that the appearance is as natural as possible. It is a sheer MONOFILAMENT piece, which means that wherever you part the wig, it will give the impression that the hair is coming from your own scalp. At the crown there is a non slip patch design, for extra adherence. There is an additional feature of a FULL LACE FRONT. This is the ultimate for a natural hairline, creating an undetectable finish. The two are adjoined by a fine, poly strip which has an additional non slip patch for extra security. Stunning construction! |

Here is a beautifully constructed COMFORT strip. It is a closed, soft material section which is slightly flexible, so you can adjust until it sits comfortably against your skin. There is also a non slip, poly tab where you can attach tape for extra security. |

To ensure that the wig is airy, the main body has OPEN WEFTS. This means that the hair has been stitched by machine onto very thin strips of elasticated material. This design ensures that the wig is cool & lightweight. |
 Nape: |
.The NAPE has a beautifully constructed COMFORT strip. There is also a non slip, poly tab where you can attach tape for extra security. The wig is secured by VELCRO ADJUSTABLE STRAPS. There is up to half an inch give, so the wig can be tightened, or slackened depending upon the size of your head. |

To measure the circumference of your head for your size, simply take your cloth tape measure and measure from your front hairline to just above the ears, to where your neck bends and back around to the front hairline.
- Average Size: Between 54cm to 57cm (21.25 to 22.5 inches).
- Large Size: Larger than 57cm (22.5 to 24 inches).
- Petite Size: Between 51cm and 54cm (20 to 21.25 inches).

1. De-TangleLightly brush through and gently remove any tangles using a wide tooth comb/brush. Do not pull or drag the fibre ….be gentle! |

2. ShampooFill your sink, or large bowl with enough cool water to submerge your wig. Pour a capful of synthetic wig shampoo in the water. Soak your wig for 3-5 minutes. Gently swirl without rubbing. |
 |
3. RinseRemove the wig from the water. Rinse the wig under running cold water, until the water runs clear from the shampoo. Either use running water from a tap, or perhaps a shower attachment. It is okay to blot the wig with a towel, but do not twist the wig or ring it out. |

4. ConditionComb through very lightly . There are two ways to condition your wig:

5. DryComb through your wig very lightly. Place the wig on either a poly head, or a wig stand to dry naturally overnight. Fibre wigs will maintain their style after being washed. |

6. StyleWhen your wig is dry use your fingers or a wide tooth comb to style the fibres. You may also wish to define the layers/curls with synthetic safe styling products. |
