What's It Like?
The Ruby wig from the Smartlace collection by Jon Renau is a beautiful, short cut style combined with a softer and feminine silhouette.
The TOP & CROWN area of this wig has a closed, flower net material section. This has been expertly designed to allow the volume at this area to stay with you throughout the day, without dropping. There is an additional feature of a FULL LACE FRONT. This is the ultimate for a natural hairline, creating an undetectable finish.
Jon Renau have made the fringe measure 12cm, so it is worn swept to the side. This then perfectly blends into the side layers that softly contour into soft points - just in front of the ear. The Ruby is a popular wig from the Jon Renau range, as it flatters all face shapes.
The layers at the crown measure 11cm. It is here where the jaunty lift is more visible. The lift then cleverly blends into some subtle and tousled layers around the crown and sides. Modern, sexy and stylish is a perfect description for the Ruby.
The nape measures 6cm. It is neatly cropped into your neckline. If you are wearing this wig over your own hair, you can be confident your look will be undetectable.

Top and Crown
The TOP & CROWN area of this wig has a closed, flower net material section. This has been expertly designed to allow the volume at this area to stay with you throughout the day, without dropping.

Temple
Here is a beautifully constructed COMFORT strip. It is a closed, soft material section which is slightly flexible, so you can adjust until it sits comfortably against your skin.
Body
To ensure that the wig is airy, the main body has OPEN WEFTS. This means that the hair has been stitched by machine onto very thin strips of elasticated material. This design ensures that the wig is cool & lightweight.
Nape
The NAPE has a beautifully constructed COMFORT strip. It is a closed, soft material section which will sit softly against your neckline.
The wig is also secured by VELCRO ADJUSTABLE STRAPS. There is up to half an inch give, so the wig can be tightened, or slackened depending upon the size of your head.

To measure the circumference of your head for your size, simply take your cloth tape measure and measure from your front hairline to just above the ears, to where your neck bends and back around to the front hairline.
- Average Size: Between 54cm to 57cm (21.25 to 22.5 inches).

- Petite Size: Between 51cm and 54cm (20 to 21.25 inches).

- How To
Simply Wigs' synthetic hair washing guide 
1. De-Tangle
Lightly brush through and gently remove any tangles using a wide tooth comb/brush. Do not pull or drag the fibre. Be gentle!
2. Shampoo
Fill your sink, or large bowl with enough cool water to submerge your wig. Pour a capful of synthetic wig shampoo in the water. Soak your wig for 3-5 minutes. Gently swirl without rubbing.
3. Rinse
Remove the wig from the water. Rinse the wig under running cold water, until the water runs clear from the shampoo. Either use running water from a tap, or perhaps a shower attachment. It is okay to blot the wig with a towel, but do not twist the wig or ring it out.
4. Condition
Comb through very lightly.
There are two ways to condition your wig:- Spray on Conditioner: Simply spray onto your wig after rinsing and leave to dry naturally.
- Balsam Conditioner: After rinsing, Pour a capful of the conditioner into the water. Soak your wig for 3-5 minutes. Gently swirl without rubbing. Do not rinse out though. Leave to dry naturally. (Please refer to the manufactures instructions for exact requirements)
5. Dry
Comb through your wig very lightly. Place the wig on either a poly head, or a wig stand to dry naturally overnight. Fibre wigs will maintain their style after being washed.
6. Style
When your wig is dry use your fingers or a wide tooth comb to style the fibres. You may also wish to define the layers/curls with synthetic safe styling products.
