What's It Like?
The Scarlett wig from the SmartLace collection is just gorgeous. A relaxed, shoulder length bob with natural beach wave curls that are flattering to practically everybody!
The main cap design of the Scarlett is open wefted. This allows air to filter through, which encourages coolness whilst you wear your wig. There is also an added feature of a Lace Front. A delicate Lace Front design is beyond comparison for a realistic hairline, as it eliminates completely any worry of 'wig edge' showing.
The longer fringe measures approximately 25cm, so you can wear to the side, which will frame your face beautifully. The overall length from the crown to the tips is approximately 33cm, so it will sit just at shoulder level which is a flattering length. They are full of fabulous, lose waves and curls and there is so much you can do with the Scarlett. You can style up, put behind your ears, add styling spray for more tousle. The options you have for this wig are endless.

Top and Crown
The TOP area of this wig has OPEN WEFTS. This has been expertly designed to allow the air to circulate, ensuring that it is lightweight & cooler than the traditional caps. There is a small closed, net material section at the TOP area which helps the volume stay with you all day long.
There is also a FULL LACE FRONT feature which will help create a virtually invisible hairline.
Temple
Here is a beautifully constructed area that will sit gently against your temple. The soft fabric will not irritate your skin, if you are wearing this wig due to hairloss
Body
To ensure that the wig is airy, the main body has OPEN WEFTS. This means that the hair has been stitched by machine onto very thin strips of elasticated material. This design ensures that the wig is cool & lightweight.
Nape
The NAPE has a beautifully constructed COMFORT strip. It is a closed, soft material section which will sit softly against your neckline.
The wig is also secured by VELCRO ADJUSTABLE STRAPS. There is up to half an inch give, so the wig can be tightened, or slackened depending upon the size of your head.

Questions & Answers
Is this human hair? Can I have the wig dyed to Match my own by a hairdresser?
The Scarlett is a fibre wig made from synthetic hair and cannot be dyed in anyway.
Are the wigs washable? If so, do you have special products? If not, how do I keep them always looking good and smelling clean? Thank you and kind regards, Mary
Yes we would advise washing the wig, to keep it in good condition. We stock a large range of Fibre care products, all of which can be found under 'wig care' on our website.
Is this model available in a large cap size?

- How To
Simply Wigs' synthetic hair washing guide 
1. De-Tangle
Lightly brush through and gently remove any tangles using a wide tooth comb/brush. Do not pull or drag the fibre. Be gentle!
2. Shampoo
Fill your sink, or large bowl with enough cool water to submerge your wig. Pour a capful of synthetic wig shampoo in the water. Soak your wig for 3-5 minutes. Gently swirl without rubbing.
3. Rinse
Remove the wig from the water. Rinse the wig under running cold water, until the water runs clear from the shampoo. Either use running water from a tap, or perhaps a shower attachment. It is okay to blot the wig with a towel, but do not twist the wig or ring it out.
4. Condition
Comb through very lightly.
There are two ways to condition your wig:- Spray on Conditioner: Simply spray onto your wig after rinsing and leave to dry naturally.
- Balsam Conditioner: After rinsing, Pour a capful of the conditioner into the water. Soak your wig for 3-5 minutes. Gently swirl without rubbing. Do not rinse out though. Leave to dry naturally. (Please refer to the manufactures instructions for exact requirements)
5. Dry
Comb through your wig very lightly. Place the wig on either a poly head, or a wig stand to dry naturally overnight. Fibre wigs will maintain their style after being washed.
6. Style
When your wig is dry use your fingers or a wide tooth comb to style the fibres. You may also wish to define the layers/curls with synthetic safe styling products.
