What's It Like?
The stunning Noriko 'Milan' Enhancement Hairpiece from Rene of Paris is gorgeous. Perfect if you have thinning hair, but you do not have a requirement for a full wig.
'Enhancement Hairpieces' are a fantastic solution to blend into your own hair, without the heaviness of a full wig.
The Milan Hair Enhancer is a MONOFILAMENT construction. This clever design will create the effect that the hair is coming from your own scalp. A solution for you that looks completely natural.
HOW DO I ATTACH?
Simply position the Enhancer Hairpiece towards the front of your hairline. There are five pressure clips to ensure that this piece stays securely all day and every day.
With five simple clicks, the Milan Hair Enhancer will lay comfortably against your head. The pressure clips enables the attachment to be less bulky and more compact. Take a look at the 'What's Inside' tab to view the exact design of this amazing piece.
The Milan measures approximately 44cm. You can either blend with your own hair, or use this piece for extra length.
If you are purchasing an Enhancement Hairpiece .......
1) Check your colour choice. The better the colour match, the better the blend between your own hair and the hairpiece.
2) Don't be afraid to visit your hairdressers to have the Enhancer 'tweaked'. You may decide it needs to be trimmed to perfect your look!

How's It Attached?

Top and Crown
The TOP & CROWN area of this piece has a sheer, HANDTIED, MONOFILAMENT construction. This means that wherever you decide to have your parting, it will give the impression that the hair is coming from your own scalp.
There is also a POLY STRIP strip section at the front of the piece, where you would normally locate your natural hairline. It is here where you can apply wig tape, or glue. Even without tape being applied, this section will prevent slipping.
Body
To ensure that the piece is airy, the main body has OPEN WEFTS. This means that the hair has been stitched by machine onto very thin strips of elasticated material. This design ensures that the piece is cool & lightweight.
Nape
As this is an enhancer, the pressure clips at the back do not actually sit at the NAPE. They are positioned higher up. Remember this is not a full wig, so the fitting of this piece is lighter and not as structured.

can this hair piece be styled - ie with curling tong? Is the hairpiece human or synthetic hair?
Hi, this piece ca not be styled using any heated appliances as it is made from synthetic fibre.
I'm desperate to find a top piece for my thinning hair. Will this add volume to the top as when my hair is all down it looks so flat on top due to my thinning hair? Also I want to know how long it will last, and with it being synthetic hair will it go frizzy as it's a lot of money to pay for hair which is not human.

Do I need special wig shampoo and conditioner to wash this, or will my own shampoo do?
We would strongly recommend a fibre wig shampoo and conditioner. This will ensure that the piece will maintained to the highest standards.
i have thinning near my forehead right to the front of crown...and on top is thin. will this wig piece be able to hide the front thinning ..i do not have a fringe. i have very thin hair and i wonder if the clips will slide out ...maybe i dont have enough hair thickness for the attachement clips to grip onto? is this possible? i have never worn a wig or hair piece. i did try a hair piece at a salon which was attached with clips but the clips were visible at the front and it looked silly.
Hello. . . the topper has been designed to cover thin hair. The clips are attached with cotton so you can unpick them and change where they are situated. For a natural hairline please take a look at the Lacey hair enhancement. It is an excellent example of a solution for thinning hair, crown hair loss, or if you would just prefer some more volume. Another solution maybe to try a cover spray, such as Mane Spray for the desired effect. Hi! I have black dyed hair almost jet black, would the noriko milan in colour expresso match my hair? Thank you, any advice is welcome... Ross
Yes, this would be a very good match as this has a blend of Jet Black and Black. This has a very sublte blend of the two darkest shades available. The blend adds a subtle warmth to this shade. It is not a 'harsh' black.
Is this hair real ? if not, is it very shinny I think that is always a give away.
The Milan is not Human hair, it is a synthetic piece. The Milan is a very natural looking enhancer and not too shiny.
