The Erin wig is created from synthetic materials, meaning the fibres have been made with artificial materials. Synthetic hair is typically more affordable than real human hair and will hold their style for much longer. The main body of the wig has been created from open wefts. Our hair loss community love open wefts, as they allow for circulation against your scalp. They also provide a slight give, as they are slightly stretchy. This cap has a Double Monofilament construction. A Monofilament cap will allow you to style your parting where you fancy, whilst creating the illusion that the hair is coming from your own scalp. A Double Monofilament has an extra piece of soft material covering the top section of the cap, which makes it super comfortable to wear. Double Monofilament designs are the ultimate in comfort and providing a realistic appearance. The finishing at the forehead has been delicately constructed, so it will look natural at the hairline. The Erin wig has a polyurethane tape strip along the front, so if you have total hair loss you can adhere wig tape here for extra security.
Measurements
The Erin features a short, but full fringe which sits a brow level, measuring 9cm. We love the versatility of the Erin as you can choose to wear the fringe sweeping to the side, or instead you can leave it to naturally fall across the face giving a fuller, more textured finish. The flattering side and crown layers are 21cm long, making it the perfect length for everyday wear, whilst the nape layers are seamlessly blended into the rest of the wig at 5cm. If comfort is at the forefront of your mind, then you’ll rest easy as the Erin weighs only 3.1oz making it incredibly lightweight. Top and Crown
The TOP area of this wig is a HAND TIED, MONOFILAMENT construction. This means that wherever you part the wig, it will give the impression that the hair is coming from your own scalp.
This wig also has an additional feature of being DOUBLE MONOFILAMENT. This extra soft layer will protect your scalp from the handknotting. This will ensure that it will feel like silk against your skin, an important consideration if you are purchasing a wig due to total hair loss.
Temple
Here is a beautifully constructed COMFORT strip. It is a closed, flower net material section which is slightly flexible, so you can adjust until it sits comfortably against your skin. The TEMPLE area also has an additional feature, as it has been UNDERKNOTTED. This creates a natural appearance around the ear section.
Body
To ensure that the wig is airy, the main body has OPEN WEFTS. This means that the hair has been stitched by machine onto very thin strips of elasticated material. This design ensures that the wig is cool & lightweight.
Nape
The NAPE has a beautifully constructed FINISHING strip. It is a closed, soft material section which will sit softly against your neckline.
This wig is secured by ADJUSTABLE PULL STRAPS. There is up to an inch give, so the wig can be tightened or slackened, depending upon the size of your head.

- How To
Simply Wigs' synthetic hair washing guide 
1. De-Tangle
Lightly brush through and gently remove any tangles using a wide tooth comb/brush. Do not pull or drag the fibre. Be gentle!
2. Shampoo
Fill your sink, or large bowl with enough cool water to submerge your wig. Pour a capful of synthetic wig shampoo in the water. Soak your wig for 3-5 minutes. Gently swirl without rubbing.
3. Rinse
Remove the wig from the water. Rinse the wig under running cold water, until the water runs clear from the shampoo. Either use running water from a tap, or perhaps a shower attachment. It is okay to blot the wig with a towel, but do not twist the wig or ring it out.
4. Condition
Comb through very lightly.
There are two ways to condition your wig:- Spray on Conditioner: Simply spray onto your wig after rinsing and leave to dry naturally.
- Balsam Conditioner: After rinsing, Pour a capful of the conditioner into the water. Soak your wig for 3-5 minutes. Gently swirl without rubbing. Do not rinse out though. Leave to dry naturally. (Please refer to the manufactures instructions for exact requirements)
5. Dry
Comb through your wig very lightly. Place the wig on either a poly head, or a wig stand to dry naturally overnight. Fibre wigs will maintain their style after being washed.
6. Style
When your wig is dry use your fingers or a wide tooth comb to style the fibres. You may also wish to define the layers/curls with synthetic safe styling products.
