This is a Rooted shade. The root darkens on each strand of fibre. If your style is shorter, the nape will be a dark contrast to the top colour. Main colour (without the dark root) is a Golden Blonde & Ash Blonde highlights. (Darker than Silky Sand).

What's It Like?

The Ashlyn TressAllure wig, formerly known as the La Brea wig California Collection, is a gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous long wig.

The long, open fringe measures 9" and is worn swept to the side (parting at the left side). There are lots of textures throughout this wig, which cleverly create soft waves, not curls, but relaxed waves. This soft design ensures that the overall look of Ashlyn is incredibly feminine looking.

The overall length from crown to back tips is 24"! A stunning piece that is long, lush and has lots of natural movement. There is lots of versatility with this wig due to its length. You can tie up or wear casual; the choice is yours.

If you are looking for a long wig with a gorgeous open fringe, then Ashlyn is for you!

How's It Attached?

Top and Crown

The TOP & CROWN area of this wig has a closed, flower net material section. This has been expertly designed to allow the volume at this area to stay with you throughout the day, without dropping.

Temple

Here is a beautifully constructed COMFORT strip. It is a closed, flower net material section which is slightly flexible, so you can adjust until it sits comfortably against your skin.

Body

To ensure that the wig is airy, the main body is OPEN WEFTED. This means that the hair has been stitched by machine onto very thin strips of elasticated material. This design ensures that the wig is cool & lightweight.

Nape

The NAPE has a beautifully constructed COMFORT strip. It is a closed, flower net material section which will sit softly against your neckline.

This wig is secured by ADJUSTABLE PULL STRAPS. There is up to an inch give, so the wig can be tightened or slackened, depending upon the size of your head.

To measure the circumference of your head for your size, simply take your cloth tape measure and measure from your front hairline to just above the ears, to where your neck bends and back around to the front hairline.

  • Petite Size: Between 51cm and 54cm (20 to 21.25 inches).

How To

De-Tangle

1. De-Tangle

Lightly brush through and gently remove any tangles using a wide tooth comb/brush. Do not pull or drag the fibre. Be gentle!
Shampoo

2. Shampoo

Fill your sink, or large bowl with enough cool water to submerge your wig. Pour a capful of synthetic wig shampoo in the water. Soak your wig for 3-5 minutes. Gently swirl without rubbing.

3. Rinse

Remove the wig from the water. Rinse the wig under running cold water, until the water runs clear from the shampoo. Either use running water from a tap, or perhaps a shower attachment. It is okay to blot the wig with a towel, but do not twist the wig or ring it out.

4. Condition

Comb through very lightly.
There are two ways to condition your wig:

  • Spray on Conditioner: Simply spray onto your wig after rinsing and leave to dry naturally.
  • Balsam Conditioner: After rinsing, Pour a capful of the conditioner into the water. Soak your wig for 3-5 minutes. Gently swirl without rubbing. Do not rinse out though. Leave to dry naturally. (Please refer to the manufactures instructions for exact requirements)

5. Dry

Comb through your wig very lightly. Place the wig on either a poly head, or a wig stand to dry naturally overnight. Fibre wigs will maintain their style after being washed.

6. Style

When your wig is dry use your fingers or a wide tooth comb to style the fibres. You may also wish to define the layers/curls with synthetic safe styling products.
