What's It Like?
The New Perfect Lace wig from Gisela Mayer is a short, classic style with open waves. The open waves are relaxed, but there are some soft curls aswell throughout.
This natural looking wig, will feel and look just like your own hair. The cap construction is luxurious, as it is completely Hand Tied. It has been designed purely with your comfort in mind. One of the many benefits of this design is that the hair falls very naturally. It has a low density which has a natural and realistic movement to it. There is also a Lace Front feature. This will allow you to sweep your fringe away from your face without any wig edge showing.
Due to the cap construction the the New Perfect Lace is ultra light and very comfortable to wear.
The Fringe measures approximately 9cm. It can be swept to the side, or worn delicately towards your brow level. The nape of this style is quite short, measuring approximately 4cm. If you are wearing this style over your own hair, and your neck line is quite low, this style may be too short at the back.
Overall the New Perfect Lace wig is light, comfortable and will look just like your own hair. A classic look that is a lovely addition to the Simply Wigs portfolio.

Top and Crown
The TOP area of this wig has been fully HAND TIED so that the appearance is as natural as possible. It is a sheer MONOFILAMENT piece, which means that wherever you part the wig, it will give the impression that the hair is coming from your own scalp.
There is an additional feature of a FULL LACE FRONT. This is the ultimate for a natural hairline, creating an undetectable finish. Stunning construction!
Temple
Here is a beautifully constructed COMFORT strip. It is a closed, soft material section which is slightly flexible, so you can adjust until it sits comfortably against your skin. There is also a Poly Section that has been hand stitched into this area. It is here that you can adhere wig tape, so you can be confident that your wig will not move.
Body
For ultimate comfort, ALL of the body has been HANDTIED. This creates an amazing softness against your scalp. Perfect if you have hairloss. There is also a minimum qty of seams, so the wig will hug and conform to your head for a better fit.
Nape
The NAPE has a beautifully constructed FINISHING strip. It is a closed, soft material section which will sit softly against your neckline.There is also a Poly Strip, which has been Hand Stitched securely into this area. It is here that you can adhere wig tape, so you can be confident that your wig will not move.
This wig is secured by a Ribbon and Hook design. There is up to an inch give, so the wig can be tightened or slackened, depending upon the size of your head.

To measure the circumference of your head for your size, simply take your cloth tape measure and measure from your front hairline to just above the ears, to where your neck bends and back around to the front hairline.
- Average Size: Between 54cm to 57cm (21.25 to 22.5 inches).
- Large Size: Larger than 57cm (22.5 to 24 inches).
- Petite Size: Between 51cm and 54cm (20 to 21.25 inches).

Simply Wigs' synthetic hair washing guide 
1. De-Tangle
Lightly brush through and gently remove any tangles using a wide tooth comb/brush. Do not pull or drag the fibre. Be gentle!
2. Shampoo
Fill your sink, or large bowl with enough cool water to submerge your wig. Pour a capful of synthetic wig shampoo in the water. Soak your wig for 3-5 minutes. Gently swirl without rubbing.
3. Rinse
Remove the wig from the water. Rinse the wig under running cold water, until the water runs clear from the shampoo. Either use running water from a tap, or perhaps a shower attachment. It is okay to blot the wig with a towel, but do not twist the wig or ring it out.
4. Condition
Comb through very lightly.
There are two ways to condition your wig:- Spray on Conditioner: Simply spray onto your wig after rinsing and leave to dry naturally.
- Balsam Conditioner: After rinsing, Pour a capful of the conditioner into the water. Soak your wig for 3-5 minutes. Gently swirl without rubbing. Do not rinse out though. Leave to dry naturally. (Please refer to the manufactures instructions for exact requirements)
5. Dry
Comb through your wig very lightly. Place the wig on either a poly head, or a wig stand to dry naturally overnight. Fibre wigs will maintain their style after being washed.
6. Style
When your wig is dry use your fingers or a wide tooth comb to style the fibres. You may also wish to define the layers/curls with synthetic safe styling products.
