Overview

What's It Like?

Samy from Rene of Paris is a modern, short and pretty style. This popluar 'elfin' look is timeless and one of the office favourites. The added benefit of the Samy is how light it is.....weighing only 1.9oz!

The fringe is 4", so it will just sit at/below the brow. A flattering fringe length which will softly frame your eyes. The side layers fall in front of your ears, gently contouring into a subtle point. The fringe and the side layers are balanced out beautifully by the subtle volume at the crown area. This gentle height is built into the style, so there is no need to worry that it will drop throughout the day.

At the back, the layers sit sweetly and closely to the nape. It is a soft and cropped outline that will give you a lovely silhouette. The Samy is pretty and lightweight. A perfect combination.

How's It Attached?

Top and Crown

The TOP & CROWN area of this wig has a closed, flower net material section. This has been expertly designed to allow the volume at this area to stay with you throughout the day, without dropping.

There is also a soft FINISHING strip at the edge of the wig, so that it will sit comfortably against your skin.

Temple

Here is a beautifully constructed COMFORT strip. It is a closed, flower net material section which is slightly flexible, so you can adjust until it sits comfortably against your skin. The TEMPLE area also has an additional feature, as it has been UNDERKNOTTED. This creates a natural appearance around the ear section.

Body

To ensure that the wig is airy, the main body has OPEN WEFTS. This means that the hair has been stitched by machine onto very thin strips of elasticated material. This design ensures that the wig is cool & lightweight.

Nape

The NAPE has a beautifully constructed COMFORT strip. It is a closed, soft material section which will sit softly against your neckline.

This wig is secured by ADJUSTABLE PULL STRAPS. There is up to an inch give, so the wig can be tightened or slackened, depending upon the size of your head.

To measure the circumference of your head for your size, simply take your cloth tape measure and measure from your front hairline to just above the ears, to where your neck bends and back around to the front hairline.

Hi, I'm looking for a short wig for my Mum who is undergoing chemotherapy. I'm struggling a bit with colours. I'm looking for an Ash Brown or closing thing to it, but can't quite work out which would be best. Any assistance would be gratefully received. Many thanks

Simply Wigs' synthetic hair washing guide
De-Tangle

1. De-Tangle

Lightly brush through and gently remove any tangles using a wide tooth comb/brush. Do not pull or drag the fibre. Be gentle!
Shampoo

2. Shampoo

Fill your sink, or large bowl with enough cool water to submerge your wig. Pour a capful of synthetic wig shampoo in the water. Soak your wig for 3-5 minutes. Gently swirl without rubbing.

3. Rinse

Remove the wig from the water. Rinse the wig under running cold water, until the water runs clear from the shampoo. Either use running water from a tap, or perhaps a shower attachment. It is okay to blot the wig with a towel, but do not twist the wig or ring it out.

4. Condition

Comb through very lightly.
There are two ways to condition your wig:

  • Spray on Conditioner: Simply spray onto your wig after rinsing and leave to dry naturally.
  • Balsam Conditioner: After rinsing, Pour a capful of the conditioner into the water. Soak your wig for 3-5 minutes. Gently swirl without rubbing. Do not rinse out though. Leave to dry naturally. (Please refer to the manufactures instructions for exact requirements)

5. Dry

Comb through your wig very lightly. Place the wig on either a poly head, or a wig stand to dry naturally overnight. Fibre wigs will maintain their style after being washed.

6. Style

When your wig is dry use your fingers or a wide tooth comb to style the fibres. You may also wish to define the layers/curls with synthetic safe styling products.
