Four Spring Tones for Your Next Wig

Four Spring Tones for Your Next Wig

Spring is the perfect excuse for new beginnings so, if you’ve been thinking about a subtle or more drastic hairstyle switch-up, there is no time like the present to explore spring hair tones!

We think you’ll love these shades for fresh spring hair.

Blonde Babylights

Babylights are still going strong and taking the lead over traditional highlights with a subtle but impactful blonde. Babylights are applied more finely throughout the hair to give a multi-tonal look for a natural, sun-kissed finish.

One of our favourite wigs which shows off babylights is the Night Wig by Ellen Wille. Its loose waves flaunt the colour dimension achieved by the perfectly-placed babylights throughout the hair. Another shorter style which has gorgeously blended babylights is the Rae wig by Rene of Paris.

If you prefer a longer style or a darker base with lighter babylights scattered throughout, the Hudson by Rene of Paris might be for you. It also comes in lighter blonde shades.

Pretty Pastels

Nothing says springtime like soft pastels. The Rae wig comes in stunning, icy, pastel shades which are subtle enough to introduce you to the world of pastel hair. If you prefer a short, choppy style, try the Rae in Pastel Blue R or Pastel Pink.

For a longer style, experiment with the Angelica Wig Noriko by Rene of Paris, with its long, side swept fringe which melts into soft layers. Choose the shade Ilumina – R for silvery purple hair with blurred, dark brown roots.

 Copper

Reds aren’t just for autumn and a rich copper might be the change you are looking for this spring! For a sleek, multidimensional red, we love the Eve Wig in Cherry Crème by Jon Renau. The multi-tonal colour is a more natural approach to red and the asymmetrical bob means you can go short and red at the same time.

Make a statement with the High Tech F wig by Gisela Mayer, which is longer and has a bold fringe. In Red M, the High Tech F is bouncy and fabulous.

If it’s a longer, sultry look you’re after, the Chance wig in Paprika Mist by Natural Image with its subtle side fringe and long layers. The dark auburn combined with copper highlights and darker roots has a stark but natural style.

Classic Brunette

While it is said that blondes have more fun, brunette is set to be big this spring. The Avery wig by Rene of Paris has a choppy fringe and gentle waves and curls just below shoulder level. In Toasted Brown, the dark base offset by coppery highlights looks soft and classy.

A longer, straighter look can be achieved with the Shilo wig by Rene of Paris. With its soft, long layers which frame the face perfectly, we love this wig in a number of brunette tones. Wander to the dark side with Dark Chocolate or embrace warmer hues with Chocolate Swirl.
