Thank you from Simply Wigs
for all the money raised so far for cancer research uk.
This gathering of people, all dressed in pink & glittered up, was a fabulous example of the kindness of human nature. Thousands of people gathered together to do good. It was a wonderful event to be part of.
There is no denying though we were nervous. We have never seen so much mud. And why didn’t anybody tell us about the high cargo net we had to get our backsides over? Emma having to be coaxed down by Becca, was not a site that we will ever forget. It was such a lovely, happy day.
Full of people gathering together to raise money for a worthy cause.
Check out our pictures showing the SW team looking fabulously muddy. Although not with us on the day, Jodie & Courtney were supporting us from their holidays. They were thinking about us as we were getting buckets of mud thrown at us!
Is that a nervous laugh Becca?
‘Muddy Run is different from pretty much any other running race you’ll ever do.
Does it require some special preparation?
Not really. Just a special attitude to make it a fun day.’
Make up on, laces tied, our time slot was called and we went to the warm up.

Is that Emma Louise under that torrent of mud?
Was the make up really worth it?
However dirty you get, this is beating cancer
The final slide!

The cool down and even a medal.
and relax.
We had such a good day, that we would do it all again in a heartbeat.
