I have been wanting to try a long wig style for ages, and I fancied a change of colour too. . .
My complexion is pale, so it’s difficult to choose the right shade. So, after talking to the helpful staff at Simply Wigs about a long wig style, I have tried this lovely Brittany wig in the colour Maple Sugar. It’s not a colour I would have noticed or chosen, but it shows the Simply Wigs team know what they’re talking about, and I feel this shade is just right for me.
Trying the Rene of Paris Brittany Wig:
WOW! I love it! I love it! I love it!!!
The Brittany wig has a double monofilament top, so it looks like the hair is coming from your own scalp, and also means you can change the parting depending on how you like it. The fringe has a lovely soft wave that sits perfectly over your eye, but can also be smoothed to the side if you prefer it off your face.
I did wonder if a long wig style would feel heavy, but not at all with this piece. Most of the weight is felt in the head section, and the length most certainly does not feel heavy, or as if it is pulling it down. The curls are so lovely, and taking the piece out of the box they are in a perfect curl shape as if you’ve just made the ringlets with your hair tongs. To soften, just gently finger the curls to loosen them to give that realistic, soft, feminine look.
You can have so much fun with the Brittany wig, as there are so many ways you could wear it. The curls on this piece can be lifted with a pointed handle comb, or your fingers to make the style look fuller for that “Cheryl Cole” appearance. Alternatively, the curls can be arranged and smoothed to lay flatter for a more sleek look. You could also tie it back in a pretty pony, or clip it to the side with a fascinator for a wedding, or ‘bit of bling’ hair clip for an evening out. So many styling options. . .
Overall, I would definitely recommend this wig. So feminine, flirty, and so very pretty.

That is such a flattering wig for you. You look really pretty.
I hope changing to a longer style does the same for me. I have just bought an Ellen Wille Mega Mono and a Jon Renau Mila and your review has given me courage.
Just waiting for them to arrive now…nervously!
