NHS HEROES NOMINATION
THANK YOU AMY
Amy has worked for the NHS for twelve years.
She has recently recovered from Covid-19, she struggled with her recovery, including frequent fainting episodes causing black eyes and bumps to the head. She still carried on and is now back at work full time on a COVID recovery ward.
She has two young children, one of whom is undergoing assessment for autism, so she rarely gets a break at home, but tries her best to be positive at all times.
She helped me during my transition to wearing a wig, which was necessary due to alopecia, by shaving off the small amount of hair i had left, to allow me the wig to fit and feel better.
She has always supported me throughout my journey with alopecia and helped me choose wigs in styles and colours which will suit me.
‘Every day, I am very thankful for and proud of her ‘
The SW Team Says
Thank you so much Janet, for sharing your story.
A beautiful bouquet of flowers are on their way to Amy!
Thank you, for being you.
NHS HEROES
Our Simply Wigs Heroes feature has been changed to Our Simply Wigs ‘NHS’ Heroes.
If you know an NHS worker, that you would like to thank then tell us why and let us know. We will then regularly choose entries and your Simply Wigs NHS hero will be sent either a bouquet of flowers, champagne or vouchers of your choice. It may be your friend who is working long hospital shifts, or maybe your neighbour who is a nurse on a ward. Or it may just be your mum, dad, brother, sister or friend, who as an NHS worker, has helped & is helping to keep us all safe.
