We are over the moon to announce that Simply Wigs has been crowned the winner of the ‘Small Business of the Year‘ category at the Yorkshire Post Excellence in Business Awards.
Held in Headingley Stadium last week (23rd November), the Yorkshire Post Excellence in Business Awards celebrated Yorkshire’s very best in business. The Simply Wigs team felt extremely honoured and proud to initially be shortlisted for this category and are now all blown away to achieve this amazing award.

The beginning…
Emma and Stuart founded Simply Wigs in November 2007. Emma began this journey due to personal circumstances and from the very beginning strived to make all their customer feel comfortable and supported during their wig-wearing journey. This mission still stands today.
Growing…
From working from the kitchen table to now owning a thriving business, Emma and Stuart always ensured that the individual and personal connection with each customer was never compromised during the continued growth of Simply Wigs. Constantly adapting, listening to customers’ experiences and producing an online shopping experience that is straightforward and enjoyable for every customer.

We are so very proud of our amazing team and how well they offer support and guidance to all our customers. Simply Wigs will continue to improve, educate & contribute positively to our wig-wearing community. We love what we do.
“Unfortunately, Stuart & I were unable to attend the awards ceremony due to a close, personal bereavement. We are so very, very proud of Simply Wigs, our staff, and our customers who have joined us on this fabulous journey. We have lots of exciting plans for the future of Simply Wigs. Our main priority as always is to passionately help, guide, and assist our customers with their hair loss concerns. This award will take pride of place on our mantelpiece and in our hearts forever”.

Simply Wigs more than deserves this award . Anyone who runs a business, of course , has to make a profit to support a staff and maintain an ongoing, successful concern but you do so much more . Wig wearing , for most women has a deeply psychological aspect to it and you all realise this and the amount of friendship , sympathy and emotional backup you give us is invaluable . Also you have one of the best websites I have ever used .
