Hi like yourself and others fully understand. It can be so daunting in the beginning. But when you finally found your confidence. Wow fantastic brings so much joy. To know we look fantastic. Who knew wearing a decent wig could bring so much the joy peace of mind, to know we look terrific. No more bad hair days. 5 minutes out the door.

I was like you, felt sure it was noticeable as a lady I first bought wigs from said she could always tell a wig, which then made me feel if she can, I bet others can. I am past that now as I get comments on my hair and no, they don’t realise its a wig and often find it hard to believe. Like you my wigs are far far better than my hair EVER was and its made my life so much happier and easier, I would never wish hair back, its too much trouble. I have also tried another company but nothing compares to Simply Wigs, they are always so respectful and polite and happy to let you know anything. No other company matches them.
You look amazing perfect wig and colour for you x iv been wearing a wig now for 24 years had my daughter and my hair fell out never grew back x iv had lots and lots of wigs from various companies mostly awfulx found Sw never looked back I wear tori in different colours and I feel fab lots of love Helen xx
Having read your story I felt compelled to leave a comment as it truly resonates with me: I too have been wearing a wig for over 14yrs having had thyroid dysfunction & like you thought everyone would know I was wearing one. However the compliments I receive about the colour & / or style of my ‘hair’ are a real boost to my self confidence. I used to think I had to tell people it was wig (in being honest with them). Whereas now I’m proud to say I wear a wig… it’s part of me rather than an accessory.
