Our shop is nestled in the rolling hills of Slaithwaite. Our Simply Wigs team have always been proud of our lovely village, but we are now super proud as the Times have recently voted it the best place to live in the North & Northeast 2022!

Patience and warmth
Oh my goodness, I walked away from my appointment with Sue in March with a spring in my step and a new, younger look. It gave my self-esteem such a tremendous boost to have an appointment with a hairdresser, an experience since permanently losing all my hair twenty years ago I have never had when choosing a new wig.
Even though I have won a wig for that length of time, I am still very anxious when it becomes necessary to deal with changing my look as my previous colour or style is no longer being made. This was also my first appointment at your shop in Slaithwaite.
Sue was absolutely wonderful and made the experience so easy and worthwhile. She put me at ease immediately, listened so kindly and attentively throughout and let the conversation unfold at my pace. Her patience and warmth relaxed me as I surveyed the wigs in your shop and the way she supported me through the process of decision-making was an incredible experience for me. And ,to top it all, having my chosen wig cut by Sue was a huge treat. I walked out of your shop wearing my new wig.
So thank you,Sue, and thank you Simply Wigs for making what is usually a very stressful experience for me such an uplifting one.
Always friendly
Absolutely first class service! I can’t thank Sue enough she was friendly, professional and encouraging, the shop has a lovely atmosphere whilst being private. I came away with two wigs and am absolutely delighted with them both they have really boosted my confidence. The whole team at Simply Wigs are amazing nothing is too much trouble they are always friendly – it can’t be easy trying to describe a colour over the phone! Thank you to you all Simply Wigs are Simply Brilliant!
Absolute credit
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to everyone I have spoken to at SW, particularly Sue pre my chemotherapy treatment for breast cancer. This is my second diagnosis of breast cancer, the first experience was crushing (a different establishment) so was absolutely dreading it. What an amazing experience! Sue was so kind, sensitive and understanding. She made me feel relaxed and there was no pressure. She is an absolute credit to the business. Both my husband and I would highly recommend Simply Wigs to all who may need this amazing service.
