MY HERO NOMINATION: Julie

“Julie had breast cancer two years ago and was such a trooper throughout some of the most awful chemotherapy sessions. She had a double mastectomy and we thought we were all clear. However a few months ago she was told she had several lesions on the brain and had to undergo more treatments. Throughout everything, the chemo, the hair loss and the steroids she has been such an incredibly brave person. Julie epitomises the word hero in everything she does.”
