Our List of Fraudulent or Scam Wig Companies

Our List of Fraudulent or Scam Wig Companies

Unfortunately, not all online stores are reputable. Over time, the UK wig market has become challenging for both legitimate wig websites and consumers, with fraudulent wig companies putting up their best fight to fool wig-wearers.

In this blog, we’ll discuss why it’s become trickier to identify scam wig companies online, how you can tell if a site is fraudulent, and some wig sites to avoid at all costs.

Why Has it Become Difficult to Identify Scam Wig Sites?

Similar prices: Many cheaper, poorer-quality wig companies have started to raise their prices to a point where they fall in the same price range as wig sellers like Simply Wigs. Ultimately, this price shift has created some confusion for customers, as suspiciously low price points used to be a key indicator of inferior products. Now, consumers can’t always judge the quality of a wig on its price alone. Furthermore, with prices being so similar, consumers often confuse higher-priced established wig companies for scammers.

Similar visuals: It has become harder to differentiate sites, especially as fraudulent ones have started mimicking the web design and images used on the best legitimate wig websites. Appearance has further blurred the lines between good and bad wig sites and increased consumers’ wariness to shop online.

What Do Scam Wig Companies Do?

Scam wig companies are deceitful groups or individuals who use the front of being a reputable wig company. Some of them look almost indistinguishable from legitimate companies.

They scam customers in a variety of ways:

  • The wrong wig is sent to the customer.
  • The wig doesn’t match the description on the website – for example, a wig advertised as real hair turns out to be synthetic.
  • The colour or style is completely different to the photo online.
  • The wig delivery is severely delayed.
  • A customer places an order, expecting the wig to arrive the following week, only to be left waiting months with no updates.
  • The wig never arrives. In these cases, the company doesn’t actually sell wigs and uses the website as a front to scam people out of money.

How to Tell Legit Wig Sites from the Fake

So, how do you know if you’re shopping online at a legitimate wig company?

The problem with fraudulent websites is that they can look so convincing when they pose as top-rated wig companies. However, there are tell-tale signs to look out for. These include:

  • Reviews

The first thing you should do is search for the company’s name, with the word ‘reviews’ – for example, ‘ewigs reviews’. Some guidance to check that reviews are real includes:

– Don’t look at reviews on the website itself. If you have any doubts about a company, make sure you check the reviews on an independent site like REVIEWS.io and Trustpilot. The company can put anything they like on their own website! For example, Ewigs has over 4,000 reviews on their website and every single one is four or five stars, but if you look at review sites, the majority are only one or two stars.

– Pay attention to negative reviews. While most sites will have some negative reviews, seeing what people are complaining about can give you a better idea of what you’re dealing with. Look for trends among negative reviews – if lots of reviewers found they never received a product, or received a different product than they expected, it’s not an isolated incident.

– Pictures and videos. We love seeing our beautiful customers wearing their creations and we encourage people to take pictures in their wigs to send to us or attach to reviews. Scam companies aren’t usually likely to take the time to find homemade footage or pictures, and many scam sites use poorly rendered images (so they might be blurry or look stretched).

  • Contact

Can you find any contact information about the page? Often, scam wig companies will just have a contact form, and maybe a phone number or email address. Reputable wig sellers should have a full address available (which companies pretending to be based in the UK won’t have), and often, you’ll be able to contact them via social media as well.

  • Unrealistic bargains or deals

A good rule of thumb when shopping online is ‘if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is’ – if you’ve found a wig that retails at £200 being sold for £20, there’s likely there’s something else at play!

  • Poor spelling and grammar

We’re not suggesting that you run every website through a grammar checker before you buy, but if the content on the site is stilted, unclear or poorly written, that should wave a red flag.

  • Unsecure website

When you click on a new website, your browser will tell you if the site is secure or not with a little padlock symbol. If the site is not secure, you should avoid spending any money with the company, as your information will not be safe!

A screenshot of the top of a website window, with the 'Not Secure' label highlighted in red.
  • Check on Companies House

If you’re  unsure if a company is legitimate, you can always check with Companies House. All limited companies in the UK must be registered with Companies House and it will provide you with the director’s name(s) and the company’s history. If they’re not registered, that means that they don’t have a physical shop or office in the UK.

  • WIG QUALITY

If you have bought a wig and you are unsure about its quality, be aware of a chemical smell. This smell appears when the natural hair colour has been stripped out of the wig in order for it to be chemically dyed to a different range of colours. The stripping of the colour also strips away the hair quality, leaving you with a substandard wig.

Back in 2014, Emma appeared on Radio 4’s consumer affairs programme, You & Yours, to discuss the trend of disreputable wig companies trading online to UK customers. Listen as Emma shares a customer story and some caring and helpful advice, explaining how non-UK wig companies are cloning trustworthy wig websites and using .co.uk addresses to fool customers into thinking they are reliable websites.

What to Look for in Reliable Wig Companies

So what are the green flags? What can you look for in a company that is worth your custom?

  • Largely positive reviews: although almost every company will have some mixed reviews, the majority of reviews should be positive.
  • Clear communication: multiple lines of communication, a physical address and opening hours suggest that the company is actually based in the UK and can answer queries.
  • Active social media: not every company has social media but an active presence on social media means it is likely someone is maintaining the accounts. They also offer another line of communication.

Scam Wig Companies to Avoid

IMPORTANT:  These companies have been reported to us as being scams. Please let us know if you have encountered these companies or any others so we can continue supporting other wig-wearers.

Customers have pointed out these companies to be aware of:

  • Hawigs.ca
  • Heywigs.com
  • Kimwigs.co.uk
  • Lightinthebox.com
  • Lytinroopwigs.com
  • Minewig.com
  • Morojowig.com

Final Advice on Avoiding Scam Wig Companies

1. Check the URL

We have also been made aware that there are several companies using the Simply Wigs name in their advertising. Always make sure you’re shopping on our official site to avoid being caught out! Make sure the URL is correct before entering any information.

Check out the listings below; the first is from our official site, but the second is a different site using our name. We’ve highlighted the URLs in red so you know what to look for!

A screenshot of a Google results page for 'Simply Wigs', with the official Simply Wigs URL highlighted.
A screenshot of an advert for ShopWig - the headline says 'Simply Wigs UK Online' but the highlighted URL says 'shopwig.co.uk'.

2. Do your research

When you’re browsing cheap ‘UK-based’ wig sites, be cautious and do your research before you buy any new products. Every week, we talk to heartbroken people who these companies have scammed, and we are angry and saddened that they are still allowed to trade.

3. Spread the word!

As many scam wig companies are not based in the UK, we are unable to prosecute them. However, if Trading Standards cannot protect people who may be shopping at a very vulnerable time in their lives, then it’s time we spread the word ourselves!

We ask that you please repost this through your own social channels. Together, we can get the word out that we will not be duped by these dishonourable companies anymore.

Our team knows that buying a wig can be an emotional and highly personal process. The UK has many highly-rated, quality, legitimate wig companies that will endeavour to make the process as easy and painless as possible.

When it comes down to it, if you have any doubts about the legitimacy of a company, you’ll be safer not spending your money with them. If you have any questions about this topic, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us. The Simply Wigs team are always here to help.

  1. I haven’t actually had any experience buying from rewigs.co.uk but looked at some of their wigs online and they seemed too cheap for the quality they said they were… looked at the reviews on Trustpilot and they have a 1.6 rating… don’t know if anyone has had any experience with them but I’m not going to risk it!

  2. Day Wigs is unreputable. Wig arrived poorly packaged in a flat shipping envelope and did not match photo on web site. Having read the return policy, I knew I had 15 days to bust a move. Emails between me and the company were inconsistent. They refused to send me their return mailing address.
Rep emailed to say the cost of returning the wig was too high and she suggested I wash and dry the wig so it would have a better appearance. After disputing through my credit card company, I received a return mailing address
    Return address:
Beishashi Room 0811, 8th Floor, Changhe Building, Changjiang West Road, Shushan District, Hefei, Anhui, China
    230088
    Don’t buy from this company.

  3. Ref my comment above about MINEWIG on 4 Aug 2022. My credit card company got my money refunded after I sent them a lot of email exchanges and pictures of the wig. Their rep (Jane) then had the audacity to email me and ask me to return the wig and $110 to China and pay approx $40 in postage. Yeah, you should receive that in about 30 years. I sent it on a slow boat?.

  4. I read these complaints and shake my head. My experience with minewig.com is identical to virtually every complaint listed. Right now they are offering me 25% refund on a $128.00 wig that is garbage. Wow people, New Years Resolution in September: READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE YOU ORDER, ANYTHING!!!

  5. Cozzyzone wigs BIG SCAM !!! NO PHYSICAL CONTACT ADDRESS .
WON’T RETURN CALLS OR EMAILS !! THEY TAKE YOUR $$
    AND SEND YOU NO WIG…

  6. MINEWIG.COM is a scam operation, I agree. I ordered a wig and received it in about 3 wks. I was very disappointed because it didn’t look anywhere like the picture at all. The hair was hard, dull and shapeless. Reluctantly, I tried it on, it was too small. I sent an email to the site requesting a return label or address and that’s when I became suspicious. The once friendly person by the name Jane sent an email saying, “send it to China”. No address or phone number. Even with a hassle and fight I don’t think I will get a refund. It’s just terrible. Beware folks!

  7. Wigsell are a rip-off. They sent the wrong wig, wrong colour and will not let me have an address to return it to. I have paid them over £80 and it looks like I have lost that money to a scam. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM WIGSELL THEY ARE DISGUSTING WIGS AND YOU WILL NEVER GET YOUR MONEY BACK.

  8. MINEWIG.COM is a scam operation like many others listed here. Ordered a wig, waited 7 weeks to get it, wasn’t even close to what I ordered. They can only be contacted online via email, so I’ve been going back and forth with someone named Jane :} She wants me to return the wig, then she will reimburse me???? That’s when I started looking up these companies and discovered it was a scam. I’ll probably never see my $218.99USD again, but I did manage to get their mailing address. This was provided by Jane so take it for what it’s worth: BERSHASHI ROOM 0811, 8TH FLOOR, CHANGHE BUILDING, CHANGJIANG, WEST ROAD, SHUSHAN DISTRICT, HEFEI, ANHUI, CHINA 230088. I’m not sure about this one, but I THINK their US retailer/shipper is Vernon Wholesale Club, 5215 S Boyle Ave, CA 90058. Hope this helps others.

  9. Do no buy from Hawigs they are scammers
They promise refund in % but never done it after several email. Beware of that company

  10. Wigsdo.com. searched for US made. They showed up as dba in US. Got wig. Totally not able to use and did not look like pic. Seams showing each time my stylist tried to part hair. Scam is you get a product and when you want to return it they make sure you know how expensive it.

  11. I bought two wigs off haircube.
On the website it says they accept refunds – even in case you just don’t like wig.
I emailed customer support only to receive no response. I got response after messaging them on all social media, then they finally got back to me after weeks. I asked for refund and got no reply again – after messaging them AGAIN through social media I received email they didn’t get any messages from me and asked for reason for refund.
I replied… And silence. I feel scammed, as wigs look nothing like advertise on website. And customer service has been abmyssal. Ignoring multiple emails, lying about not receiving messages, dragging the matter for weeks. Avoid!

  12. Please has anyone ordered on bestbyjessica?? I’ve made my order and been sending DMS , no one is replying? Have I been scammmed please ? So confused

  13. I’m waiting on two wigs from olivewigs, I sent message and no response yet. Late on order. I wish I would have investigated before I ordered. Thank for all your comments. It gives me good advice. Lesson learned.

  14. Does anyone have any experience buying from ameihairs wigs? I bought 3 wigs from them going on almost 2 weeks ago now as a Easter day deal of $58 for any 3 wigs. Was originally posted all over Facebook. When I made the purchase i assumed that that automatically registered me therefore id be able to look back later on the tracking info but when I tried my purchase was nowhere to be found so I went and registered. And afterwards I sent an inquiry to the one and only form of contacting them they have , their email… Waited a day and a half… Nothing! Sent another email… Waited another day… NADA … Sent yet another email today… Nothing yet again so far. I find that really weird and now im starting to get really annoyed and upset.

  15. Don’t buy from and that are two for the price of one it’s a big scam BESTYLEWIG and beawig are two that keep changing their name and wouldnt let me leave a review

  16. Olive wigs cannot be contacted are they a scam too I have my order number and all the information and they do not get in touch with you . Go after these scammers. Who waste
Your time. Ever heard of olive wigs?

  17. Thank you for your information I will take it on board the world is full of bad people.

  18. Im mot 100%certain yet if these are scammers finewigs.store
The website doesn’t seem to exist.
I bought 2 wigs so-called gor the price if one which said was natural real hair. They arrived but they are clearly synthetic and not a good synthetic they look like very thin plastic or nylon with such a fake look and shine.
I paid through PayPal and gave put in a claim for a refund lets see what happens. Scammers or not the quality is shocking so AVOID them.

  19. A couple of years ago purchased a wig from China (was not stated from China) and the same picture used as a nice wig that is in the catalog of a company I have used. Took forever to get here and was like a Halloween wig! After many months and through my credit card’s fraudulent dept I was refunded the paid amount. It was very stressful and a fair amount of money so I did get $ refunded. NEVER AGAIN!!

  20. Mysecretwigs.com is an online site.
Total scam. They do not answer your emails. You cannot contact them. Lots of reviews to say women haven’t been sent their item. Months pass and nothing. The Judge Me Review site is just as bad as they allow them to delete any messages after a couple of weeks. I’m continually posting new reviews as they delete my old ones.
I have written a review in Trust Pilot as the company cannot delete it.

  21. do not use wiggy never got refund for returned wig and had po receipt when they received it

  22. Please do not order from rewigs, the quality was dreadful & the topper was not as advertised. When I emailed to request a return they offered me less than half the cost to go away (not their exact words). The return address was in China. Thank goodness for Paypal which refunded me straight away.

  23. Has anyone had a problem with the wig company named -Mine Wigs – I’m still waiting for my wig that I ordered a while ago.
Cannot find an address or phone number to ask them where my order is.

  24. Wig brought from Wigsell. Delayed delivery – 7 weeks. Completely wrong wig – style, colour and size. No paperwork with order. Repeated refusals to provide return address (still haven’t been given it). Actively tried to deter me from returning wrong wig by saying that I will be responsible for return postage and taxes. 30 emails later they are still trying to convince me to keep the wrong wig. I put the transaction into dispute with my credit card company and have been refunded my payment.

  25. October 2021
There are hundreds of complaints on line, UR wigs sent me the wig over three weeks late. I tried to cancel after five days their automated system didn’t respond as something appeared to be wrong – the order said 2-4 days.
The wig arrived in a shoe box not wrapped the wrong colour and too large and not the style I ordered.
If anyone has a return address can you provide it? They ignore all return requests and want more money and are asking for me to buy another wig. They have failed to provide a return address. the company fraudulently, advertises as a UK company but it’s not its in China. The company ignores all requests and send reply emails too delay and I realise now I’m one of hundreds dissatisfied customers that has been sent the wrong wig or a wig of terrible quality. My hair is very fine due to health and I’m in need of a wig so they are taking advantage of vulnerable people. If any one has a return address for UR wigs please let me know. Today there email reply today is from top hair service so add that to the list as well. I hope someone has a return address.
From now on I will only deal with a company that I can visit.

  26. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!!!!! WIGSELL

Do not use this company, not actually a company but one person calling themselves Betty
I rarely leave feedback but will make an exception for these scammers.
They are not an English company, but chinese
You will not get what you order
The wigs are not hand made as described
The pictures are from other wig suppliers and nothing like the item you receive.
You will be fobbed off if you complain, and told if you return the item they may not receive it and you will have to pay postage
i returned mine and then told it was damaged, even though it was returned in far better packaging, than the cheap bag it was sent in
You will never get a refund, even if you are offered one
I have been waiting since july , despite dozens of emails, still not had a refund for the terrible wigs received
fortunately our bank have now stepped in to retrieve our money, i suggest if you are in the same boat, you go down this route as it is the only option
this is a genuine review by a uk based person, even though wigsell will tell you negative reviews are placed by competitors
Please trade with someone else or you will regret it
we have been in touch with trading standards to get this company shut down from trading in the UK and passing themselves off as UK based.

  27. Beauty Lace

Total scam… they take your money send you a cheap wig that doesnt even match ads then ignore your emails when you reach out to them to return their item for a full refund. Wigs from china and they lied about who actually is behind their business. Go to one link then end up at another then one link doesnt work.

  28. I bought wig from company advertising on Facebook called douusys wigs. It was called Alva a Noriko wig which I realise now was probably a picture copied from Noriko. Not too expensive at $50 including shipping. It arrived about 3 weeks later & as soon as I saw size of package I knew something was not right so I took photo before I opened it. Inside package was plastic bag folded to fit in postage bag. Alva wig is straight with fringe & this “wig” was curly with no fringe, one side was 3 ins longer than other & 2 heads could have fitted in it. I contacted them by email & sent photos of what I ordered & what I got & said I wanted a refund. They replied sorry I was not happy they would refund me $9, I refused & insisted I wanted a refund. Lots of emails were exchanged & I told them I was going to open dispute with PayPal, contact Facebook & sending them photos, contact Noriko & send them the wig if need be, & lastly contacting Trading Standards. I then got email from a senior customer service agent ?wanting to help & made me 2 offers. The 1st offer was take $9 refund & keep wig to give to a friend, 2nd was refund of $19 & send wig back which will cost me more than $20. I refused offers & insisted I was contacting all the people I had told them I would contact. They then came back with $40 refund & keep wig. This morning I replied for them to refund me $40 which they said will reach me in 3/5 days. I thought PayPal might got get me a refund that’s why I accepted it. Although I bought wig from Douusy my confirmation was from wigs & more. I have seen on Facebook last few days a different company but the same Noriko wigs photo’s that I got scammed with. I have learnt a lesson not to trust adverts on Facebook.

  29. Bought an item from kimwigs, had to return it as it was horrendous, been 5 weeks now and still trying to get a refund which they are making every excuse under the sun to get out of paying, now threatening them with legal action.

  30. STAY AWAY FROM BILIYA. They used a fake picture to describe their topper. It was horrible and I contacted them to say it’s nothing like the picture. They asked for a picture of the wig they sent. Then said nope that’s the one you ordered. I raise so much he’ll they gave me $10 to go away.

  31. URHAIR; – Beware and stay well clear. Another example sadly that sales people that don’t know there own products and a “customer services,” HA! person Lucy who will say and do anything to avoid a refund.
Item, not as described and bad quality and they lead you on and will not refund even though they claim that they will. Sadly, these companies will just continue as there is no way to stop them. Also be aware that they filter any feedback to ensure no bad review is seen or uploaded. I am sure this would be against the Trade Practices Act in UK but they simply do not care as they only have there own greed to care about. The problem is that because so many of these scammers are around, who are we to believe? How do we know if anyone is genuine? Best of luck to you if you have managed to avoid these scammers so far.

  32. I purchased 4 wigs from hair leisure. None of them looked like what I ordered I am currently trying to get refunded with no luck yet!

  33. I ordered last year, in 2020 from a company called Big Big Wigs. It was a month before my double mastectomy. They sent Wigs that weren’t lace front and couldn’t be parted anywhere which was unlike what the description was on their site. It also arrived well after my surgery. Took forever. I demanded refund but they made me send wigs back to China first. I got a call from the shipping company in Chinese! As if I could translate!? I paid $87 plus the $27 and change to send back wigs. Couldn’t get a hold of anyone and when I’d email I would get a response claiming they never got wigs back. Then, someone used my credit card numbers overseas, same one I made the purchase with, at some restaurant for about $350. Thank goodness HSBC caught it and gave me another account with a new card and didn’t hold me responsible for the purchase. I’m now seeing same pics with same descriptions on another wig website called Hair Leisure, so be careful. Don’t buy from Big Big Wigs or Hair Leisure. It was like being on the exact same site. I think Big Big Wigs became Hair Leisure because they ripped so many people off they had to change their website name.

  34. I bought from this fraudulent stealing scamming company. The company sells horrible wigs, they won’t refund your money even if you try and cancel your order before they even ship it.
I was scammed and they are very unprofessional about doing business.DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!! TRUST ME THEY ARE THE WORST ALL THE WAY AROUND! I emailed and told them to cancel my order since they said my order wasn’t ready to ship, these snakes immediately responded saying my wigs have shipped when they just told me that my order wasn’t ready. I emailed them back and said I asked them in enough time to cancel my order!!! They emailed me and said unfortunately my order has already shipped and that I should open the packages when I get them to see if I like the hair but they can’t give me a refund at this time!!!!! How is it one minute my order wasn’t ready to my order had shipped????? DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH 2021WIGS.COM THEY ARE A SCAM!!!!!

  35. Do not buy from Wigsell.co.uk, look like they are based in London but products come from China. Absolutely awful wig arrived, not in any way representative of the wig shown on the website. No return address included. I got a chargeback from my credit card luckily, but please do not deal with this company!

  36. Dulcimear hair listed their address. However after not receiving my unit in two months the address no longer exist. Don’t buy anything that uses track 17.

  37. I tried sending two emails to wigsell.co.uk using the email address they gave, which is [email protected]. They were immediately returned by the postmaster when I used the email address above, saying that no such domain existed! So beware, people—-these might also be scammers.

  38. Shopwig is a scam too. I ordered 2 wigs, when they finally arrived they were both the wrong colour . Although I have requested a return address, they totally ignored that and finally said due to cost of materials etc. They could not afford to refund me. They offered me 10% of purchase price and keep the wigs and sell them myself !!

  39. KIKICS.COM
I am absolutely fuming and feel like screaming and crying at the same time! What I ordered is nothing close to what I received! I ordered three pieces of human hair and after waiting for more than a month, I received some kind of Halloween hair costumes! The hair were some odd colours I have never seen and synthetic rather than human hair as they had claimed!! I can’t believe I have been scammed this way!
Don’t fall victim of these scammers ?.

  40. Vinnie: Same problem very poor quality and sent wig back to return address on Shipping package with tracking and proof of Delivery their US Forwarder,Claim, they never got it, of course going back to China, Stay away?? JM Wigs impossible to get refund and you will have to return it. Terrible

  41. Janet S
Don’t buy from WIGSBUY or any co. from china .. they are deceitful, rude, scammers and ugly. Can’t return because no address despite emailing for a return address constantly.. no refund. No help from pay pal.. will now not use PP waste of time and money. PLEASE PEOPLE. JUST READ THESE REVIEWS AND NOT WEEP. BUY FROM A REPUTABLE WIG COMPANY. The old saying rings true. You get what you pay for. Although some of their wigs are not cheap, just avoid these scam wig companies on here or online. Always check first….

  42. I bought 4 different wig styles from ENYLLO …I received 4 of the SAME STYLE wigs. When I asked for a full refund they kept emailing me days apart promising a full refund. The catch is you can’t send them back to New York where they were sent from but to China!. Well the shipping is almost as much the cost of the wigs. DONT BUY from this company

  43. kimwigs.co.uk are a scam Chinese company that will take your money and send you completely the wrong item, nothing like what you ordered, and will say that they will refund you but only a small percentage because it will cost £50 to send the wig back to their remote headquarters in China, then stall and stall when you ask for their address because you want to send back the cheap junk they sent you anyway.
Check ‘Trustpilot’ first before buying online from any supposed UK wig manufacturer.

  44. Keeyawigs is a scam , contact details do not exist , fortunately I paid through paypal, eventually after two months of sending several emails , I was sent synthetic hair totally different from the one advertised. I had to throw straight into the bin. I go not go through the hassles of refund, I guess it was because the money is little £25.
But pls beware guys, these online wigs sellers are purely scam and thieves.

  45. Twigs is a SCAM!! I ordered wigs that weren’t even close to what I ordered. Wrong style, color
    and texture.

  46. I brought 100 dollars worth of wigs buy 3 get 1 free i order 3 braided wigs human hair 1 kinky straight wig a l s o human hair I got a wig with 1 inch of lace n 3thin narrow bags with strip of hair on a gold color string

  47. URHAIR – REFUSAL TO REFUND!!!
    When is a REFUND (100%) NOT a Refund? When it’s a URHAIR REFUND (35%)

To: Fellow Professionals in the Creative Industries,
I had very disappointing experiences with this Company URHAIR (email @topservicehair.com)
After an outlay for a WIG – £70 – which was the wrong size / too small) – they have consistently refused to honour my request for a Returns and Full Refund.
In the end their final offer for any type of refund was £25 – which represents 35% of my total outlay.

I tried many times – (27 emails exchanged) – to stress their online ‘Refunds Policy’ (from their website) – promised –
“… your complete satisfaction is our top priority …” and
“We aim to show the top quality to our customers, and if there is any questions in quality, we will gladly … refund the item.”

I emphasised my rights to a Full Refund for an ‘unusable’ item’ under UK Consumer Protection Laws – but this internet company, working out of China, paid no heed to such rights and PERSISTENTLY REFUSED TO OFFER A FULL REFUND.

Whilst a loss of -£45 may seem a small amount, it is the principle of how companies should trade that concerns me.
Thus, I feel that my only recourse, to alleviate my disappointment at my dealings with URHair, it to forewarn other in the creative industries, in the hope that they will avoid the same negative experiences that I have had.

Don’t let this happen to you!
