My journey started 14 years ago with thinning hair when I was only 40.
Fast forward to today where I now have bald patches. I keep my hair clipped to a number 4 to keep it cool under the wigs I wear.
As a balding woman, it has knocked my confidence immensely and made me feel less female. I can’t help but look enviously at ladies with beautiful hair and wonder why me. What have I done to deserve this affliction? (Apologies for the brief pity party!)
It was only last year that I considered synthetic wigs as I always associated them with total baldness, not Alopecia. They have been a lifesaver for me in total honesty. They simply boost my confidence and make me feel fabulous and with the affordable selection available there really is something for everyone.
