My friend Sarah is at the heart and soul of the community in the town where we live; she knows nearly everyone and goes well out of her way to look after everybody she meets, for example, helping with the community food bank, collecting donations of clothes for people who need them, chatting to anyone who’s a bit alone, being a pastor to the High Street shops, you name it.
She also developed alopecia a couple of years ago, and since my daughter was also diagnosed earlier this year, Sarah has been a brilliant support and mine of information about all things hairy.
