MY HERO NOMINATION: Susan
“I would like to nominate my mum Susan. She is always there for me through thick and thin, no matter what life throws at me. I have been in this country by myself for twenty years to study and work. I only get to see mum who lives in Hong Kong during holiday. Although we are far apart, our bonds have always been very strong. In 2017, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. She selflessly flew all the way here to take care of me, even though she could barely speak any English at all. She was with me the whole time through this long journey of chemotherapy, surgery and radiotherapy. She visited me daily when I was twice admitted to hospital with infections. She gave me hope me when all I could see was darkness. She lifted me up when I was feeling low. She laughed with me when I was happy. She encouraged me even when things seemed impossible. She loves me unconditionally since the day I existed.
I am forever grateful for all she has done for me.

I am over the moon to learn that my mum has been selected for Simply Wigs Hero feature! It was such a lovely surprise when I received your email today.
Thank you so much for the opportunity to express my sincere thanks to my mum for being there for me in every way throughout this challenging journey. She is absolutely delighted to find out that she has been select for the Simply Wigs Hero for January 2018! I will certainly get her a wonderful gift with the prize when I next see her!
