She wasn’t sure if she could be brave enough to wear a wig

She wasn’t sure if she could be brave enough to wear a wig

  Where do I begin?

My story all started with my lovely friend Erica. Erica was diagnosed with cancer in January 2023. After her first round of chemo, she lost all her hair and she wasn’t sure if she could be brave enough to wear a wig. I told her that if she did it I’d do it with her.

That was just the beginning of my wonderful journey into wearing wigs. I lost my lovely friend six months later. I will never forget her and how she helped me to a place where I am having the best fun I have ever had in my life.

I don’t have hair loss but the joy that I have found by discovering Simply Wigs I cannot put into words. We are all on this journey together but also on a personal individual level.

Since I cut all my hair off and started to wear wigs my scalp skin issues have improved but more importantly, I am the most confident I have ever been in my life. I walk into a room now and I don’t care who turns to look at me because I know they will be thinking to themselves “Who’s that lady with the fabulous hair?”

Wigs help people who don’t have hair loss but who are just not happy with their bio hair for whatever reason too. I hope these words help others who are just not happy with what they have.

You can change things and have the best fun of your life.

Love to you all,
Helana x

  1. What a great friend you are. My sister helped me through my wig journey after chemo, helping me choose a wig and helping me have the confidence to wear it out. My hair is now coming back but it looks very patchy so I just pop on one of my three wigs and they look fab, like I have just been to the hair dressers. Be confident ladies, I can guarantee no one will notice it is not your own hair.

  2. What a great story here, and a different take on wig wearing..what a lovely friend you were too, and now enjoying your wigs…
    You look great in Ignite..
Every day is a great hair day with a wig…?

  3. What a lovely friend youve been, I’ve lost my hair to chemo and wear a wig it was hard at first but feel more confident each time I wear it .

  4. A remarkable lady and a true friend, looking fabulous in the Ignite wig.

  5. So encouraging! Still working up the confidence to wear mine! The plan is for the coming weekend
