Jon Renau SmartLace
The new evolution of lace front wigs
We are over the moon to announce that SW are now are the proud suppliers of the sensational Jon Renau SmartLace collection. Our wig wearing community have asked us so many times to stock this gorgeous brand. So we have put our coffees down, got our backsides in gear, and we are now wondering why we didn’t sell this range earlier!
Here at Simply Wigs HQ, we are delighted that we have all the established brands on our portfolio. It always interested me though why our customers thought Jon Renau wigs were so amazing.
Well, now I know why. . .
Comfort Level
Wow, it’s the comfort level. We have started our journey with Jon Renau by initially adding, just the SmartLace collection to our portfolio. All of the SmartLace wigs are amazingly comfortable. There are lots of different cap designs within this series. Monofilament, Wefted, Lace Front. There are though nine DELUXE styles, which I have personally zoned in on. These wigs are unparalleled for comfort. This is the reason why our customers kept chattering about how fabulous Jon Renau were.
The DELUXE styles that I want to bring to your attention are slightly more expensive than a normal wefted wig, but if you are looking for comfort, then you are not going to get any better. The cap is really soft, and will mold to your natural contours to give a custom fit feel. The styles are super beautiful and if you are going to invest your money into a high quality wig, then look no further than Rachel, Diane, Cameron, Mariska, Karlie, Julianne, Adriana, Victoria, and Courtney.
If the DELUXE wigs are out of your budget, do not worry as the remaining SmartLace wigs are also fabulously comfortable to wear. All of these styles are proven best sellers in the US already. Take a look and have a browse at Alessandra, Evan, Rosie, Scarlett, Jodie, Katherine, Amber, Heidi, Gisele, Elle, Zara, Alia, Annette, Julia, Emma, Kristen, Jenny, Hillary, Nita and Bowie . You can then decide if all the hearsay about the Jon Renau wigs, was true after all?
Colours
The colours are so natural. They are blended beautifully to create a really natural look. Take a look at the Jon Renau colours article to give you a more detail about the Jon Renau colour spectrum.
Fibre softness
I don’t know how Jon Renau have done it, but the fibre on the SmartLace collection is really soft. It moves naturally, feels fabulous and our models instantly fell in love with it. Jon Renau use Kanekalon fibre with all their traditional synthetic wigs, like the SmartLace collection. You might find that some of the synthetic styles have a softer feel to the fibre and this is so that it looks the most natural and more like real hair!
Our launch of the SmartLace collection has been an exciting & thrilling time for us here at Simply Wigs HQ.
The wigs are fabulous, the service from Jon Renau is outstanding and our models absolutely love the wigs.
We just got Smart.
Hope you get Smart too.

Hi Vix,
Our models & bloggers think that the fibre for the SmartLace collection is unparalleled for softness. We have not though seen the Heat Defiant range as yet, but we will let you know our thoughts when they arrive at our warehouses. If we love them, or if we agree with you about the texture. With regards to your question comparing the brands – it does depend on which wig you are considering. The Sentoo Premium Plus range is a deluxe collection of wigs, so this will be similar to the completely hand tied SmartLace wigs. Incredibly comfortable. The SmartLace have lots of different cap constructions, and I believe their wefted versions is similar to the wefted Rene of Paris wigs. We have noticed with some of the Jon Renau wefted wigs that there are more wefts and they are closer together. This we believe will give more structure to the shape of the wig and it may also keep its cap shape for longer too. On a final note, I completely agree about the Shaded Mocha colour….GORGEOUS!
Hope this helps

Absolutely love the fibre quality! And the Deluxe collection will be top of my list next time I’m shopping for a new wig, you can’t beat that cap construction

Where does Jon Renau rate compared to Rene of Paris and Sentoo Premium Plus ranges? I did try on a Jon Renau Smart Lace Heat Defiant wig and the hair on this has a really waxy feel and it lifts very high off your head (hope I have explained that OK) so it looks wiggy. Have to say though the colours in Heat Defiant which I think is the same colours as the Smart Lace are amazing – specially shaded mocha!
Loving this article!!!! And love Jon Renau x
