It has been 8 years now since I wore my first Simply Wigs piece.
I was still working with the Local Authority in a Senior Management role. I was in a high-profile role which demanded my attendance at important meetings, so appearance was key.
I had just been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, and as a consequence of taking the medication, I started with severe hair loss.
I considered wearing a wig, and that’s when I found the Reece wig in the colour Nutmeg. OMG this transformed my appearance. So much so that constantly and daily I used to get loads of compliments about my hair.
I retired 6 years ago and I’m still wearing the same style and colour Reece wig, which I buy twice a year from the fabulous Simply Wigs.
I would not be without my wig. It gives me so much confidence that I believe I would not have without wearing it. I have visited the Simply Wigs shop, and the lovely friendly staff helped me try different styles, but I’ve always gone back to this one as I feel great wearing it, which at 71 is so important.
When you’re feeling a loss of confidence due to hair loss, remember that hair loss is common in people of all ages, and hair loss affecting your confidence is normal.

You look great and I’m totally with you. I have worn wigs for about the same amount of time. My two styles are Long Page Mono in Creamy silver and Tempo 100 Deluxe in Snow Mix. Just like you they give me great confidence and I feel I can tackle most things. I wouldn’t be without them. Catch my story if you have a moment.
