5 Things Not To Do When Wearing a Wig
You know, sometimes wearing a wig, like many things in life, is trial and error. So here’s a few of my errors to avoid you having to make the same silly mistakes I did.
(Some light hearted and some genuine mistakes).
- I know it can be frustrating waiting for your wig to dry after washing it, but please try to be patient. Don’t make the mistake that I did. Do not attempt to use a hair dryer on a synthetic fibre wig. You will definitely damage the fibres.
- Don’t try to color a human hair wig yourself. After 3 attempts of bleaching my wig and still no luck, I gave up and threw it away. Go to a professional. I beg you not to make this mistake and waste your money.
- Do not stand to close to the oven when opening the door. The sudden burst of heat might be too much for the fibre and singe the wig. But this is a perfect excuse to get your other half to do the cooking!
- Do not wear a wig that is to tight! I wondered why I was getting a headache after I wore a new wig for the first time 🙁
- Do not, get extremely drunk, dance like a crazy person and let your wig go flying across the dance floor when taking part in head banging. To save yourself the embarrassment, please avoid following in my foot steps here.
The Jon Reanu products can be found here and the Dimples fibre Oil here.
