Love Your Selfie Competition Winners

Winning 1st place feels like a great achievement. I have been wearing wigs for 25 years, and changed them to be in keeping with my age. I've also spent a lot of time on the website and I'm constantly complemented by people who have no idea it's a wig! So, I feel my time and effort have not been in vane. I love Flair. She's soft, versatile, my best friend, Thank you Simply Wigs. 

I only started wearing wigs a few months ago after losing my hair to alopecia. I was devastated to start with and the thought of wearing a wig filled me with dread. I found Simply Wigs by visiting a lot of sites and forums. Being able to try on wigs in the comfort of my own home, my safe place, was so refreshing, and with the help and support of your wonderful team it felt like a lightbulb moment when I actually heard a voice saying 'you can do this'. I found this wig is very like my bio hair and in moments I feel like myself again. So many people think it's my natural hair after initially telling people it's a wig, I now just say 'thank you' and keep it to myself. I told someone recently that all my hair had fallen out and she replied, 'well like how gorgeous it's grown back.'

This is so amazing and a genuine surprise. I've been a wig wearer for several years since my hair started to embarrassingly thin. Wearing this Stevie wig has helped me to discover some confidence, and to feel feminine and attractive again.

I'm absolutely delighted to be coming joint third in the 'Love Your Selfie Competition'. Having been wearing wigs for almost a year now because my own hair is very thin and difficult to style, I decided to try this wig. I have never been blonde before but this wig is great fun, easy to style, and fits me perfectly. Thank you Simply Wigs.

Wearing wigs has given me a newfound confidence and the freedom to have the type of hair I've always wanted. I love being able to change my look, experiment with different styles and colours, and have a different persona for work and private life. I can adapt my hair to suit my mood and complement my look.
