1. Determine Your Needs Style:
Think about the style you want (e.g., bob, long, curly) and consider whether it's for daily wear, special occasions, or to manage hair loss.
2. Choose the Type of Wig
Human Hair, Synthetic or a blend. Human hair wigs look natural and can be styled like your own hair, but they're usually more expensive. Synthetic wigs are more affordable and come pre-styled but may not last as long. Consider cap construction and look for options like lace front, full lace, or monofilament for a more realistic look and comfortable fit.
3. Find Your Size
Measure Your Head: Use a flexible measuring tape to measure around your head, from the front hairline, over the ears, and around the nape of your neck. Most wigs come in standard sizes (small, medium, large).
Adjustable Straps: Many wigs have adjustable straps to ensure a snug fit.
4. Consider the Cost
Wigs can vary significantly in price. Determine how much you're willing to spend and explore options within that range and keep an eye out for discounts or promotions!

A backorder may occasionally occur when you place an order for a product that is temporarily out of stock or not currently available for immediate delivery.
Instead of cancelling the order, we will accept it and then inform you via email that the item will be despatched to you once it becomes available again. If the item is going to be longer than three weeks, we will offer you a refund but keep the item on backorder and inform you when it arrives to us. You then have the option to purchase.
Back orders can be a convenient option for you if you are willing to wait for an item to become available, rather than spending time seeking it elsewhere. Simply Wigs will always keep you informed about any information concerning a backorder.
The SW Team is always here to help. If your delivery has not arrived within the expected timeframe, here are some steps you can take to address the situation:
- Check the Tracking Information: If you have tracking information for your delivery, use it to check the status of your package. Tracking details can often provide insight into the whereabouts of your shipment and its estimated delivery date.
- Contact our customer service team: Or give us a call on 01484 844557 to inquire about the status of your package and we will try our very best to help you.
- Check for Delivery Attempts: Sometimes, delivery attempts may have been made while you were unavailable. Check for any delivery attempt notifications left by the potman or courier. This may provide instructions on how to reschedule delivery or retrieve your package.
- Wait for a Reasonable Time: Occasionally, it's possible that there may be unexpected delays due to factors such as weather or logistical issues.
If you need to cancel or amend your order, you should contact our customer service team as soon as possible, preferably before the order has been processed or despatched.
- Check the Order Status: If you have an account with us or received an order confirmation email, check the status of your order. If it's still listed as "Processing" or "Pending," there's a good chance you can make changes or cancel it.
- Contact Customer Service: Our customer service team are always here to help. Just contact us by phone or
email. Explain that you need to cancel or amend your order and provide them with your order number and any relevant details. Our fab team will then arrange this for you. - Confirmation: Once your request has been processed, we will send you an email to confirm this. Keep any confirmation emails or reference numbers for your records.

We are happy to provide a refund in accordance with our Returns Policy. You must obtain a Return Number from our offices, prior to returning. (Wig care accessories, Special Orders, Eyebrows and International orders are non-returnable).
Send your parcel back to us via a recordered delivery service. You are responsible for the return carriage of the goods.You have fourteen days from receiving the goods to inform us you are returning.
You then have a maximum of fourteen days to get the goods back to us. All returned goods must be in the original packaging, labels intact and in pristine condition. We reserve the right to reject any products that do not adhere to this policy. If all guidelines are adhered to, you will be refunded within 14 days of receiving the goods back at SW.
