The TOP & CROWN area of this wig has a closed, flower net material section. This has been expertly designed to allow the volume at this area to stay with you throughout the day, without dropping.
There is also a soft FINISHING strip at the edge of the wig, so that it will sit comfortably against your skin.
Here is a beautifully constructed COMFORT strip. It is a closed, flower net material section which is slightly flexible, so you can adjust until it sits comfortably against your skin. The temple area also has an additional feature, as it has been UNDERKNOTTED. This creates a natural appearance around the ear section.
To ensure that the wig is airy, the main body has OPEN WEFTS. This means that the hair has been stitched by machine onto very thin strips of elasticated material. This design ensures that the wig is cool & lightweight.
The NAPE has a beautifully constructed COMFORT strip. It is a closed, flower net material section which will sit softly against your neckline.
This wig is secured by ADJUSTABLE PULL STRAPS. There is up to an inch give, so the wig can be tightened or slackened, depending upon the size of your head.
Want to learn more about the different cap types?
Read our wig cap guideThere are a few things to think about before choosing your wig but don't worry - we will help every step of the way. The first is cap size, a well-fitting wig will feel more secure and comfortable. If you're not sure how to measure, our wig size guide will show you exactly what to do.
Next, think about the length and style that best suits your lifestyle. Longer wigs can tend to need a bit more care while shorter styles are often easier to manage day to day. Then there's colour - you might prefer to stay close to your natural shade or this could be the perfect chance to try something different.
You'll also need to choose between synthetic and human hair as each has its own benefits, along with the cap construction, which can make a real difference to how natural the parting and hairline look.

Human hair wigs are more expensive because the raw material is real hair and high-quality hair is both carefully sourced and in limited supply. Remy human hair costs more again, as the cuticles are kept intact and every strand is aligned in the same direction – a slow, skilled process that helps creates a longer-lasting wig. If you choose a hand-tied cap, each strand is individually knotted by hand, adding many hours of expert craftsmanship.
Although the initial cost is higher, it's worth thinking about the cost over the lifetime of the wig. With the right care, a human hair wig can last one to three years, while a synthetic wig is more likely to last around four to six months with daily wear. Over time, the difference in cost can be much smaller than it first appears.

Human hair wigs are made using real human hair, carefully sourced and crafted to create the most natural look and feel possible. They're loved for their soft texture, realistic movement and styling versatility making them a popular choice for those who want a wig that behaves much like their own hair.
It's worth knowing that most human hair wigs are made using hair from more than one donor. This helps create the volume and length needed for a complete wig, although it also means achieving perfectly uniform colour can be more challenging than with synthetic fibres. The quality of a human hair wig also depends on how the hair has been processed, with less processed hair generally offering the best appearance, longevity and styling performance.
If you'd like to learn more about what goes into making a human hair wig, our guide to How are human hair wigs made? explains the process in more detail. We've also written about ethical sourcing in the wig industry, so you can feel informed and confident about where your wig comes from before making your choice.

The difference comes down to the cuticle – the outer layer of each strand of hair.
With Remy human hair wigs, the cuticles are kept intact and every strand is carefully aligned to run in the same direction from root to tip, just as the hair naturally grew. In standard human hair wigs, the hair is often collected without keeping the strands aligned so the cuticles can face different directions.
This is what gives Remy hair its smoother, silkier feel. It tangles less, is easier to manage and with the right care, will usually stay looking beautiful for longer. Preserving and sorting the hair is such a careful, time-consuming process, Remy hair is also more expensive than standard human hair.

If you're looking for the most natural look and feel, a human hair wig is hard to beat. Whether it's the right choice for you depends on your lifestyle, budget and how much time you'd like to spend on styling and maintenance.
Human hair wigs offer incredibly natural movement and can be styled just like your own hair. You can curl, straighten, cut and even colour them, giving you complete flexibility to create the look you want. With the right care, they can also last between one and three years making them a long-term investment.
Synthetic wigs, however, have their own advantages. They're easy to care for, hold their style after washing and are ready to wear with very little effort. They're also generally more affordable, making them a fantastic option for everyday wear or for anyone who prefers a low-maintenance routine.
Many people enjoy having both. A human hair wig offers styling versatility for special occasions or everyday confidence, while a synthetic wig is perfect when you need something quick, convenient and ready to wear whatever the weather.
If you're weighing up the pros and cons, our guide to human hair vs synthetic wigs compares both options in more detail, helping you decide which is the best fit for you.
