The TOP area of this wig has been fully HAND TIED so that the appearance is as natural as possible. It is a sheer MONOFILAMENT piece, which means that wherever you part the wig, it will give the impression that the hair is coming from your own scalp. There is an additional feature of a FULL LACE FRONT, which extends to the ear tabs. This is the ultimate for a natural hairline, creating an undetectable finish. Stunning construction!
Here you will find a strategically placed poly patch, where you can adhere wig tape for extra security. Underneath the poly patch are flexible strips where it is possible to bend & adjust to sit snugly against your temple.
The main body of wig has several components. The top part is completely handtied, which is soft and will allow the fibre to move more freely. For additional structure, towards the nape there are several slim wefts, which are then covered in a delicate netting. This is to create gentle definition in this particular area. This type of cap design is the ultimate in luxury.
The NAPE has a beautifully constructed FINISHING strip. This wig is secured by VELCRO ADJUSTABLE tabs. There is up to half an inch give, so the wig can be tightened or slackened, depending upon the size of your head.
Want to learn more about the different cap types?
Read our wig cap guideYou will need a cloth tape measure. If you have any hair, push back the hair so there's no added length or volume. Start at the centre of your forehead where your natural hairline is, and you are going to measure the circumference. Drop behind the ears, to the nape, and then back up around the opposite side of your head meeting back at your starting point.
And don't worry if your head circumference measures in between the average sizes as there are adjustable straps at the back of each wig to ensure a perfect fit.

Cleaning a synthetic wig is a relatively straightforward process, but it's essential to do it gently to avoid damaging the fibres. Only wash your synthetic wig with aftercare products specifically for synthetic wigs. Detangle the wig gently. Fill a sink of lukewarm water and put some shampoo in the water. Gently swish the wig and leave immersed for between 5-10 mins. Rinse and then repeat with the conditioner. Pat the wig and then leave to dry naturally. Always read the instructions on the shampoo & conditioner bottles, as instructions may vary from different suppliers.
By following these steps and using gentle care, you can keep your synthetic wig clean and look its best for many 'wears' to come. It's generally recommended to wash your synthetic wig every 7 to 10 'wears', or as needed based on how often you wear it.

Synthetic wigs are pre-styled, meaning their shape will remain without additional styling. However, it's important to note that using traditional heat-styling tools or straighteners on synthetic wigs can damage the fibres.
If you want to add a bit more definition or hold to your synthetic wig, you can use wig-specific styling products like wig wax or wig mousse. These products are formulated to be gentle on synthetic fibres and can help enhance the style of your wig without causing damage. Wig wax can be used to add texture or hold to specific areas of the wig, while wig mousse can add volume and definition to the overall style.
Determining which wig will suit you best depends on several factors, including your face shape, skin tone, personal style, and lifestyle. Decide what shape your face is. Oval, Round, Heart, Square, Diamond or Oblong. (You can easily do this by tracing the outline of your face in a mirror with lipstick or soap and observing the shape).
Check out our article below, which will offer you suggestions on what styles to try. Remember these suggestions are simply guidelines. If you find a style that suits you, then wear it! Ultimately, the most important thing is to try on different wig styles and see what you feel most confident and comfortable in.

Permatease is an abbreviation for permanent teasing. It is located at the top area of the wig and has two functions. 1. To create volume and lift. 2. To hide the wefts of the cap base.
Permatease is a versatile hairstyling technique that plays a crucial role in the construction of wigs and hairpieces, helping to enhance volume, coverage, and overall appearance. By teasing the hair at the roots, permatease creates a base of support for the rest of the hair to sit on, resulting in a fuller, more voluminous appearance.
It is made up of short, matted fibres and can sometimes give a singed effect if the permatease is not lifted enough.
