The TOP area of this wig is a HAND TIED, MONOFILAMENT construction. This means that wherever you part the wig, it will give the impression that the hair is coming from your own scalp. This wig also has an additional feature of being DOUBLE MONOFILAMENT. This extra soft layer will protect your scalp from the handknotting. This will ensure that it will feel like silk against your skin, an important consideration if you purchasing this wig due to complete hairloss.
If you are wearing this piece due to hairloss, there is also a POLY STRIP which surrounds the monofilament area. This is where you can add wig tape for additional security.

The NAPE has a beautifully constructed shaped, COMFORT STRIP. It is soft material that will sit comfortably at your necklilne. There is an additional feature of two POLY TAPE tabs where you can add wig tape for additional security.
This wig is secured by ADJUSTABLE PULL STRAPS. There is up to an inch give, so the wig can be tightened or slackened, depending upon the size of your head.

Read our wig cap guideCleaning a synthetic wig is a relatively straightforward process, but it's essential to do it gently to avoid damaging the fibres. Only wash your synthetic wig with aftercare products specifically for synthetic wigs. Detangle the wig gently. Fill a sink of lukewarm water and put some shampoo in the water. Gently swish the wig and leave immersed for between 5-10 mins. Rinse and then repeat with the conditioner. Pat the wig and then leave to dry naturally. Always read the instructions on the shampoo & conditioner bottles, as instructions may vary from different suppliers.
By following these steps and using gentle care, you can keep your synthetic wig clean and look its best for many 'wears' to come. It's generally recommended to wash your synthetic wig every 7 to 10 'wears', or as needed based on how often you wear it.

A small amount of shedding is normal.
Shedding is a natural occurrence with wigs, just like it is with natural hair. A few strands here and there are nothing to worry about. However, if you notice excessive shedding, it could be due to a few factors.
- Firstly, be mindful of how you're caring for your wig. Brushing too vigorously or using harsh products can indeed contribute to increased shedding. Opt for a gentle touch and use products specifically designed for human hair wig care to maintain its quality.
- In very rare cases, excessive shedding might be a sign of a manufacturing issue, like a faulty wig.
