What is the difference between a lace front wig and a monofilament wig?

A lace front mainly creates a natural-looking hairline at the front of the wig. A <a target="_self" href="https://www.simplywigs.co.uk/ladies-wigs/wig-type/monofilament-wigs/" rel="noreferrer noopener">monofilament</a> top or parting creates the appearance of hair growing naturally from the scalp in that area. How do I cut the lace front on a wig?

Lace fronts can be either pre-cut or uncut. Most of our lace styles at Simply Wigs are pre-cut lace so there is no need to get your scissors out. For the uncut lace wig styles, use sharp scissors and trim any excess lace from the front of the wig. Aim to cut close to the knots but not so close that you unpick the fibre. Uncut lace front - trimming the lace front on a wig is an important step to ensure a natural-looking hairline. You will need sharp scissors, a wig stand or mannequin and hair clips. <ol><li>Place the wig on a wig stand or mannequin head to keep it steady during the trimming process. If you don't have a stand, you can hold the wig securely in your hand. </li><li>Use hair clips to pin back any excess hair that may get in the way while trimming. </li><li>Carefully use sharp scissors to cut close to the knotted hairline. Take your time and make small, precise cuts to avoid cutting too much lace. It's better to cut a little at a time and check the progress frequently. </li></ol>

Charice wig Style Details

The top of the cap is made with a closed wefted material which provides a cool breathability at the front of the style and boosts the volume of the fibres, keeping the gorgeous layers in place during the day. There is also an extended lace front for an all-round natural looking hairline that is perfectly blended and practically undetectable. It's comfortable and excellent for keeping your look intact all day. The body of the cap is made with open wefts for further breathability throughout the style that will keep your scalp cool underneath. This is perfect for anyone with bio hair underneath as it will help regulate your temperature so you can wear your Charice for as long as you like. These wefts are also slightly stretchy and will provide a more comfortable fit. At the nape and ear tabs, there are small comb attachments to slide into your bio hair, which will give you a more secure grip, and help ensure your wig will not move. The long and beautiful fibres are heat-friendly, which is perfect if you want to switch up your look! The long length gives more room to experiment and add a different style such as bouncy curls or a nice gentle wave. Whatever your perfect look, you can find it with the Charice. These fibres can be styled with up to a maximum heat of 180°C, as anything more will lead to long-term damage.

Care
