Most of our lace styles at Simply Wigs are pre-cut lace so there is no need to get your scissors out. For the uncut lace wig styles, use sharp scissors and trim any excess lace from the front of the wig. Aim to cut close to the knots but not so close that you unpick the fibre.

1. Place the wig on a wig stand or mannequin head to keep it steady during the trimming process. If you don't have a stand, you can hold the wig securely in your hand.
   
2. Use hair clips to pin back any excess hair that may get in the way while trimming.
   
3. Carefully use sharp scissors to cut close to the knotted hairline. Take your time and make small, precise cuts to avoid cutting too much lace. It's better to cut a little at a time and check the progress frequently.
