Our Simply Wigs shop is based in a fabulous village called Slaithwaite, which is just on the outskirts of Huddersfield.

Slaithwaite is a vibrant village in the Pennine foothills, known as 'Slawit' by us locals. Slaithwaite was named as best place to live in the North and North East by the Sunday Times, and we are incredibly proud to have our shop here. There are lots of lovely shops to visit in the village, aswell as some delicious eateries too!

Storing your wig properly is important to maintaining its shape and quality.

• Ideally, you should store your wig in the original packaging. Simply comb through the wig to remove any tangles or knots, then fold it flat and place it back into the box. Store in a cool and dry place and away from direct sunlight to prevent any damage to the wig fibres.
• Alternatively, if you have lots of space, you could put on wig stands and have them on display. There are various types of wig stands available, including ones that resemble a head shape or simple upright stands.

NHS wig support can depend on your circumstances, where you live, and whether you qualify for help with health costs. Some people may also be eligible for VAT relief on wigs if they are buying because of a qualifying disability or long-term medical condition.
